This project involved the selected demolition of the second-oldest building on the historic campus of the New Mexico School for the Deaf. The original two-story building was the school's dormitory, which was reconfigured with new construction into modern classrooms. The new construction was designed and built to achieve LEED Silver certification from the United States Green Building Council. The historic facade of the building was preserved to maintain an important link to the past.
