Fifty years of practice have brought clarity and substance to our firm’s mission.
We started out as a partnership, incorporated into a mid-sized architectural/engineering firm during the 70s, then intentionally downsized again to become a smaller, architecture-only practice in the mid 80s. Our evolution as a firm was concurrent with the growth of continuing care retirement communities and by the 90s we had found our natural niche in master planning for these facilities and all of their components. Non-profit and repeat clients dominate our portfolio and aging demographics suggest that our particular expertise will fill a market need for many years to come.
Our passion is to bring quality of living to all ages. Brown Calabretta designs housing projects of all sizes and is also experienced with small commercial projects, including numerous expansions and renovations.
