Scope Of Work
This Government Military Construction project consisted of the phased construction of multiple buildings on one site, including a 42,000 SF ARC Training Building, 7,800 SF Vehicle Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), unheated storage building, 1,800 SF Covered Wash Rack, and 65,000 SF heavy duty concrete organizational parking pavement. The facilities include classrooms, training areas, media centers, multimedia presentation areas, conference/meeting areas, physical fitness centers, locker rooms, restrooms, administrative offices, Army Reserve command support areas, arms vaults, SIPRNET café, unheated storage, equipment and tool storage areas, equipment and tool distribution center, vehicle/equipment maintenance bays, and landscaped outdoor recreation areas. This project achieved certified LEED Silver.
The project scope of work included land clearing, extensive earthwork, demolition of existing underground structures, heavy duty concrete pavements, heavy duty asphalt pavements, fencing, extension of site utilities (primary power, water, gas, communications), complex reinforced concrete foundations, multi-level structural steel, pre- engineered metal building wash rack, cast-in-place structural concrete walls, native limestone masonry veneer, built up composite roof systems, complex HVAC systems (150 tons geothermal heat pump and split DX systems), plumbing, electrical systems (communications, electrical distribution, SIPRNet), mechanical systems, security systems, fire alarm and mass notification, overhead bridge crane, vehicle tailpipe exhaust extraction systems, arms vaults, extensive wire mesh partitions, IDS security with CCTV, specialty laminated epoxy flooring, ceramic/porcelain tile, VCT, carpet, athletic fitness center flooring, acoustical ceiling tie, corner guards, interior finishes, toilet accessories, visual display specialties, hollow metal door frames, wood doors, ATFP compliant aluminum windows, electronic firing range, coordination with GFGI FF&E installation, partial Government occupancy for FF&E installation, and compressed air and POL systems.
