Mr. Charles W. McFarland (Chuck) is Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Tri-City Electrical Contractors, Inc. He serves as financial advisor to the Company president and is responsible for all financial management and reporting. Additionally, Chuck is responsible for all administrative departments of the Company including management information systems, human resources, safety and training, fleet maintenance, purchasing departments, and contract administration.
Chuck has over thirty years experience in providing financial and administrative management expertise in the construction industry. He has served as Vice President and Treasurer of one of the nations largest electrical contractors with over $350 Million in annual revenues, and as President and CEO of a national communications construction, engineering and service company.
Chuck had previously served as a Supply Officer aboard the USS John F. Kennedy CV-67 and as a Senior Accountant with the firm of Deloitte Touche, LLP.

Jack A. Olmstead's Bio
Jack A. Olmstead has over 28 years of operations management experience in the electrical construction industry, and was promoted to President of Tri-City Electrical Contractors, Inc. (TCE) in January 2001. His responsibilities include overall management of the corporation as well as marketing and business relationships with customers for the corporation. In addition, he is responsible for budget development and strategic planning and growth. His management experience in commercial, industrial and institutional projects have added greatly to TCE’s success.
Mr. Olmstead joined the team in 1995 as the Tampa Division Manager with proven expertise in the area of electrical construction management, having been responsible for the successful completion of many multi-million dollar projects. Prior to joining TCE, he held the position of Vice President for a major electrical contractor located in the midwest.
Mr. Olmstead also actively participates in trade associations and continuing education, including as past president of The Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) -- Gulf Coast Chapter, the Executive Management Program at Florida State University, Continuing Education courses, and numerous others. He is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Chapter of the Children’s Home Society.

Mr. N. Lynn Harden serves as Manager for the offices in Ft. Myers and Tampa, Florida. Mr. Harden is responsible for business development for both divisions and for maintaining and securing successful relationships with clients, vendors, and other suppliers. He supervises and implements the construction of all projects for the divisions and is responsible for their adherence to meeting schedules and deadlines.
Mr. Harden has over forty years experience in the electrical contracting industry. He joined the team in 1993 and since that time has been a leader in supervision and management. Mr. Harden served as a Senior Estimator of the Commercial Department until 1998 when he assumed the position of Service Department Manger and then in 2003 moved to manage the Tri-City Ft. Myers division office. He has successfully maintained good working relationships with clients. A Journeyman Electrician since 1969 and a Master Electrician since 1972, he competently fulfills the position he holds with the company.

Mr. Ken Curcio started in the electrical trade in 1992 as an Electrician’s Mate in the United States Navy. He joined Tri-City in 1997 and obtained his Journeyman’s license in 1998. As a senior project manager, his responsibilities include project profitability, manpower requirements, budgets, material control and requisition, change order pricing and negotiations, pay applications, and construction schedule compliance.

Tom Pritchard has over 26 years experience in the electrical industry and has been employed with the Company for more than 20 years. Tom currently holds the position of Field Operations Manager for the Tampa Multi-Family Department. He is a licensed Journeyman and a Licensed Master Electrician. As a Field Operations Manager, he is responsible for the all the project managers and all their projects for the Multi-Family Department. He uses his management skills to train and guide project managers to ensure that projects stay on schedule with a professional installation and deliver a quality product.

MICHAEL POWERS
Corporate Safety & Training Director
Mr. Michael Powers (Mike) serves as Corporate Safety & Training Director and has been with the Company over thirty years. Mike is responsible for implementing and overseeing the safety program and employee-training program. He has been responsible for safety and training for over $150 million in electrical construction work annually.
Mike directs safety and training personnel at each of the division offices in the necessity and importance of safe and efficient use of tools and standardized field techniques. He trains his staff in the importance of a strong, properly implemented safety policy and safety training program, which is evident in the reduction of the Company’s incident rate and lost time rate consistently providing us with continuous improvement in safety.
Mike is committed to maintaining and enforcing the Company’s belief that quality work performed efficiently and safely, as evidenced by a strong in-house training program and resulting in an excellent safety record. He insures the maintenance of this excellent safety record through extensive reporting procedures, incident reviews and periodic on-site safety inspections.
Mike serves as liaison for the Academy of Construction Trades, School To Work Program, represents the Company in any OSHA inspections, is a member of the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Safety Committee and sits on the NCCER national electrical panel as the subject matter expert for safety for the Contren electrical textbook writing committee. He is qualified to teach the OSHA 10 Hour and 30-Hour courses and the 100-Hour C.S.S.T. The safety department also teaches all equipment classes such as Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, backhoe, trackhoe, trencher, and vertical tower use and safety. Other comprehensive classes on include but are not limited to Lock-out Tag-out, electrical flash and hot work, fall protection, and excavation safety.
Mike has spoken at seminars and small groups of contractors on electrical and safety issues. He also helps in arranging and helping to develop training classes and electrical updates including the successful in house licensing program. This program is a boost to employees towards getting their journeyman licenses. Other programs on management skills, core values, mentor programs, electrical training, and orientation videos where all assisted or developed with his input. National Electrical Code updates and state code changes are all funneled through the safety and training department to the field management teams.
