Our Story
Green Asphalt was formed in 2011 with the goal of creating a 100% recylced asphalt pavement (RAP). Since its inception, Green Asphalt has become the leader in recycled pavement materials.
As New York City’s number one leader in recycled asphalt pavement materials, Green Asphalt prides itself in producing the highest quality material for our customers. Our customers can trust that they are not only choosing an environmentally friendly product, but one that is cost-effective, often coming in at 20% to 30% less expensive than conventional asphalt.
Green Asphalt currently produces type 3 binder, 6F HD and 6F RA top. We also readily accept clean broken asphalt and millings. We do not acquire additional aggregates through mining or using virgin liquid asphalt and can assure you that our material has proven to perform equally durable to virgin material.
In addition, Green Asphalt can license our patented technology to other plants to allow them to increase their RAP content in their own mixes. Contact us to learn more!
