Samuel Brunt, Sr., brings decades of professional experience in South
Florida as and business consultant on major construction projects, and
as a licensed general building contractor on both commercial and
residential projects. He has also worked many years in the
Maryland/Washington, D.C. area working with a non-profit social
enterprise as Operations Manager for its deconstruction operations in
Baltimore City, and as construction Project Manager for an affordable
housing developer in Washington, D.C. A proud graduate of Howard
University, BA ’83, Samuel also has a Master’s Degree in Public
Administration from the University of Baltimore, MPA ’85 (Financial Administration).
Samuel has done work on some big projects in South Florida, including
serving as the site developer and general building contractor for the
6.5 acre Community Bible Baptist Church Project in Miami, Florida. In
addition, he worked as a consultant for local minority business
enterprise (MBE) compliance and local hiring requirements on both the
American Airlines Arena Project (home of the Miami Heat), and the
Arsht Performing Arts Center Project in downtown Miami. Further, Mr.
Brunt is a life-long student of self-improvement, and is always
reading about, or listening to something informative, inspirational,
or upbeat that will improve his people skills, personal productivity,
and professional excellence.
