Bryan Hodnett's Bio
Bryan joined Donahue Favret Contractors in 2012 and has served in many roles. He has successfully managed a wide variety of projects including hotel renovations, restaurants, historic rehabilitations, multitamily and retail projects. Bryan is currently the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, he plays an integral part of Business Development and Operations as well as working closely with Preconstruction Services. He collaborates with the Marketing team responding to proposals as well as seeing projects through completion. In 2016 Bryan was elected to the Board of Directors of DonahueFavret Contractors and became a vice president and shareholder in 2019. Bryan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and his Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. His civic activities include serving on the board of directors of Family Promise of St. Tammany; membership in GNO Inc.'s Next Gen Council, Urban Land Institute, and LAB's Emerging Leaders Council; and he is a graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute.
David E Dupre's Bio
David brought his extensive construction experience to DonahueFavret in 2001. Prior to joining DFC, David was an estimator/project manager for two companies before starting his own construction firm. He then led Al Copeland Investments construction department, where he was introduced to DonahueFavret. He joined DFC as a Project Manager, became a member of the Board of Directors in 2006, was named a Vice President in 2010 and Vice President of Field Operations in 2013. In 2019, he became a shareholder in the company. David's vast experience includes specialties in restaurant, medical, hospitality and multi-family projects. David sits on the executive committee of ABC Bayou Chapter.
John L Donahue Jr's Bio
Jack Donahue is a New Orleans native who grew up in the construction industry. He earned his Civil Engineering degree from LSU and worked for his father's construction company. In 1979, Jack opened his own construction firm in Mandeville, serving as President/CEO/Chairman. DonahueFavret Contractors Currently grosses over $80 million per year, and Jack serves as Chairman of the DonahueFavret Contractors Board of Directors. Jack has a history of service and leadership. Jack served three terms in the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 11. Through the years, he has been chairman of Associated Builders & Contractors for Louisiana, chairman of the Louisiana Association of Business & Industry, co-chair of the GNO Inc. Tax Competitiveness Task Force, chairman of the Causeway Commission, chairman of the Business Council of St. Tammany Parish, president of the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation, president of Legatus Northshore, and board member of the Catholic Foundation. Jack was named to the LSU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Hall of Distinction; was named Legislator of the Year by the Alliance for Good Government; was given the John H. Hainkel Leadership Award by the Republican Delegation; was awarded the Guardian of Small Business Award by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in 2010; and received the Community Leadership Award by St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce as well as the Business of the Year from the Chamber; and was named Member of the Year by Associated Builders & Contractors.
John L Donahue III's Bio
Donahuekavret Contractors has been a second home to John, who learned the business working on construction projects since the age of 12. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from LSU in 1990, John joined the company full time as a Project Manager/Estimator. He became a company owner and Vice President, leading the Operations Department, until being named President and coo in 2007. John added the duties of CEO in 2009 and currently serves as President and CEO. John has been an active member of Associated Builders and Contractors, where he has served four terms on the board of directors of the Bayou Chapter, including a term as President, on the ABC National board of directors, and in many other capacities. John has also provided leadership to the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors and served as its Chairman. He also helped found ChamberPac, the St. Tammany West Chamber's Political Action Committee, of which he is still a Board Member. John sits on the Board of Trustees of Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and is a member of LABI, Vistage, the Northshore Business Council, and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership St. Tammany. Maura W Donahue's Bio
Maura has been a key member of DonahueFavret since joining the company in 1981. As the company grew, Maura was named Vice President, overseeing business development and office administration, and in 2010 became Executive Vice President. Maura is one of the owners of DonahueFavret Contractors. Maura is a past chair of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the United States Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business federation. She currently serves on the Board, the Executive Committee, and is chair of the Nominating Committee.
Long an active leader in local chambers and economic development organizations, Maura chairs the Northshore Regional Board, is a former chair of the Board of LABI, former chair of Greater New Orleans Inc., and serves on the boards of Resource Bank, the Northshore Community Foundation, and Legatus Northshore. Formerly, Maura served on the b0ards of Blueprint Louisiana, the State of Louisiana Board of Commerce & Industry, the St. Tammany Parish Economic Development Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, and served on the Advisory Board of Entergy Louisiana. She chaired the board of the West St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Regents of Our Lady of Holy CrOss College and the Committee of 100 for Economic Development (C100) in Louisiana. She is a graduate of Leadership Louisiana and Leadership St. Tammany West, who named Maura its Leadership Alumni of the Year. She was twice named a Women of the Year honoree by the New Orleans Publishing Group. She was awarded Person of the Year by the Associated Builders and Contractors Bayou Chapter in 2004. In 2007 Maura was honored as Woman of the Year for St. Tammany West Business and Professional Women and was inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame in 2008. The Louisiana Center for Women in Government & Business named Maura Corporate Executive of the Year in 2013. In 2014, Maura was presented with an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She received the Ed Steimel Achievement Award from LABI in 2016.
Max Ferran's Bio
Max Ferran grew up in construction and development, giving him a deep understanding of the intricacies of the local market. He previously worked in project management in the New Orleans market before joining DonahueFavret Contractors in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager and Corporate Safety Director. His expertise includes multiple contract delivery methods in medical, hospitality, multi-family, commercial office, and retail sectors. A native of New Orleans, Max received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Alabama and resides with his wife Megan and three children in Mandeville. Patrick N Descant's Bio
Patrick is a native of Bunkie, Louisiana, and grew up in his grandfather's construction business, starting at the age of 12. After earning his Construction Management degree and the Outstanding Senior Award in Construction at LSU, Patrick worked at Brice Building Company for 13 years, where he became the Vice President of Field Operations at the age of 28. Patrick joined DonahueFavret in 2007 and is now shareholder, a member of the Board of Directors and the Vice President of Preconstruction Services. He oversees all estimating, budgeting, design-assist, and design-build services for DFC. He is also a 2009 graduate of Leadership St. Tammany.
