Baltic Construction, Inc.

Baltic Construction was founded in South Orange County, California in 1989 by Boris Hoffman, who was born and raised in Lithuania. He earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Technology from the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) in Vilnius, Lithuania. He immigrated to California in 1986 and started working in the construction industry there that year. Initially, he worked as a construction manager for a Los Angeles-based development company, remodeling restaurants, hotels, and single family homes, and building new custom homes.

Shortly, he founded his own design/build construction company in 1989, which specializes in residential home improvements, room additions, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, deck and porch construction, and new custom home construction. Since 2012, Baltic Construction relocated to Northern Virginia and carries General Contractor’s licenses in Virginia and Maryland.

The motto of Baltic Construction is “Quality is our specialty.” Even though Baltic Construction has traveled from one coast to another, it continues to provide quality work, attention to fine details, and quality customer service. As a master carpenter, Boris is involved hands-on in all of his company’s construction services.
