Alen Cooper's Bio
Alen Cooper is the Head of Operations for JAC Construction. He oversees daily operations for the company including customer relations, overseeing estimates and budgeting and heading up project management. He has a gift for analyzing, troubleshooting, and heading off issues and delays before they occur. He is an excellent communicator and professional who gives JAC’s customers and vendors attention and respect that they deserve.
Alen hails from England where he received his degree in engineering. He began his career in construction when he came to America nineteen years ago. He has a love for construction and bringing projects in on time and within budget. He believes in keeping his commitments and delivering an excellent product to JAC’s clients.
Alen has been a car enthusiast since he was a boy. He spent many years restoring classic cars including AC Cobra’s and he is a master mechanic. He continues his love for driving sports cars today. He enjoys the gym and spending time with his wife and three kids at their ranch in Temecula.
Carrie MacElwee Cooper's Bio
Carrie MacElwee Cooper is responsible for recruiting dynamic individuals who make up the team at JAC and oversees human resources. She is the glue that keeps everything running behind the scenes.
Carrie is a graduate of San Diego State University. She has a passion for construction and has worked in the industry as a licensed contractor for over 20 years.
Carrie is from southern California and has lived in Temecula for 22 years where she resides with her husband and three kids. Outside of work you will find her riding horses and training at the gym.

Brandon Bentson's Bio
Brandon Bentson is the Special Projects Coordinator at JAC Construction. Brandon helps JAC with sales support, bidding, estimating, marketing and health and safety. He joined the team in July of 2019 and is transitioning into the construction world after spending the beginning of his career working in the sporting industry. His leadership, communication, and organization skills make him a great fit for the position in helping JAC Construction continue great safety for their employees and clients.
Brandon graduated from Cal State San Marcos in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Communications. During his time at CSUSM, he was a four-year letter winner for the baseball team and was named Male Student-Athlete of the Year for both the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 school years. Brandon completed his Master of Arts Degree in Sports and Athletic Administration From Gonzaga University in May of 2019.
Brandon was born in raised in San Diego and has recently moved to Temecula where he resides with his fiancee. Brandon enjoys sports and writing about them on his sports blog, along with training at the gym, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Kenneth Crow 's Bio
Kenneth Crow joined JAC Construction in November 2015 as a Project Superintendent, and was promoted to Construction Manager a year later. With an industry career that spans several decades, and covers his early days as a carpenter apprentice to President of a successful construction company, Ken brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the team. Ken’s hands-on, no-nonsense management approach, augmented by his familiarity with every aspect of the industry; a keen sense of what is required at every phase; and ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems, affords him the confidence and expertise to oversee the construction side of ongoing projects, and work with the Project Managers/Superintendents to deliver the best product possible. Ken’s integrity and expertise has made him a valuable member of the JAC team.
Certified in advanced tactical weapons training, and a former golf professional in the PGA program, in his downtime, Ken might be found on the shooting range or driving range.
Leslie Kormann 's Bio
Leslie (Les) Kormann is a Senior Project Leader at JAC who has worked in the construction industry for almost 40 years. His extensive knowledge of building systems and techniques, combined with his strong reputation for integrity and transparency with clients, designers and subcontractors, gives him a unique perspective on the industry.
Les began his construction career building custom homes for a local builder while in high school and college. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Pratt Institute, he started working on large commercial high-rise buildings in New York City, delivering unique and complicated projects under some of the most challenging conditions until he relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 1992.
A meticulous planner, problem solver and technician, Les managed operations in entirety for a large global construction firm in Los Angeles, and has managed projects in San Francisco, Seattle and Portland.
When Les isn’t working, you will find him cycling throughout the valley, enjoying the desert habitat, or relaxing with his wife cooking a variety of cuisines in Palm Springs.

Megan O’Brien 's Bio
Megan O’Brien has more than 12 years of office experience working for general contractors. With her extensive knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, contract negotiation and administration,she adapts quickly to the most diverse tasks, which makes her a valuable member of the JAC Team. As the office manager, she is responsible for implementing office procedures and organization. She is responsible for the construction draws and ensuring subcontractors are billing according to their contracts and in compliance with the required documentation.
When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, going to the river and the gym.
