Steven Mikolajczak's Bio
Steven Mikolajczak brings over 10 years of construction experience to Structure Midwest. While pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, Steve worked his way through multiple firms in the Technology, General Contracting, and Engineering fields. During this time, he worked as a field engineer on the Indianapolis International Airport, midlevel high rise office buildings, and as a design engineer for a national Fire Protection contractor.
Upon of his Construction Engineering Management degree from Purdue, Steven went on to work for multiple industry leading and admired General Contractors the country. While overseeing hundreds of millions of dollar’s in Market Rate Multi-family, Commercial, Restaurant, and Tenant Improvement construction, he continues to ensure that quality, honesty, and integrity are at the forefront. He has held positions in both Project Management and Field Supervisionduring his illustrious career.
Out of the office you will find Steven enjoying time with his family at the lake, out on the golf course, driving at the race track, snow skiing, and attending various sporting events. From time to time he will even sit down to savor a sun set and take in the fresh air.

Randall Baker's Bio
Randall Baker brings over 20 years of construction experience to Structure Midwest. While pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Randy worked his way through a Construction Materials Testing & Environmental Engineering Firm. He was responsible for concrete, asphalt, and aggregate quality control in the field, laboratory, and the batch plants. Randy also worked on the soil boring crew, ground-water sampling crew, and scanned landfills for methane gas leaks. He was responsible for soil classifications, engineering reports, and assisted with the of phase 1 and phase 2 environmental site assessments.
While finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management at Eastern Michigan University, Randy as a Project Manager for a Union General Contractor in Detroit. While employed there he had the opportunity to manage and superintend a vast array of project types from simple interior renovations for the IRS, to Dynamometer Pits and Fuel Testing Laboratories for the EPA, all the way to dredging, dykes, and Aids to Navigation in the middle of Lake Superior for the U.S. Coast Guard. The Army Corps of Engineers was one of his biggest and he performed an array of Industrial and Civiljobs on many of our U.S. Military Bases.
Post union construction in Detroit Randy went on to work for some of the largest and most respected General Contractors in their industry. He has held Vice President positions and has been ultimately responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of Light Industrial, Commercial, Senior Housing, Skilled Nursing, Market Rate Multi-family, and Student Housing projects.
Out of the office you will find Randy spending time with his wife and daughter on the boat, on the bikes, snow skiing, hiking, or taking on a new home improvement projects.
