Jessica Wolak is the President and CEO of the Adelante Construction
Group, where she provides clients with smart, safe construction
solutions while helping them meet their supplier diversity goals. She
is a lifelong Chicagoan and proud Latina raised on the south side of
the city and a graduate of the UIC John Marshal Law School.
Before starting Adelante in 2018, she worked at MasTec Network
Solutions and Black & Veatch as a Contract Attorney, facilitating
projects across the country. Her experience in construction and
engineering firms inspired her to put her own vision into action; the
vision was to rebuild the infrastructure of the communities of the
City of Chicago. As a woman and Hispanic business owner, she values
maintaining an experienced, diverse, and an inclusive workforce that
reflects the communities in which she serves.
Jessica is committed to continuing education in the field and is a
graduate of the HACIA/ComEd Future Energy Jobs Act Contractor Training
program, the ComEd Diverse Energy Efficiency Service Provider
Incubator Program as well as the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses
Program. She is also an active member of the Hispanic American
Construction Industry Association, as well as the National Association
of Women Business Owners.
