Smith Paint and Company started in 1960 in McMinnville, Oregon, 40 miles southwest of Portland. Originally founded as Delane Smith Painting for house painting, the family-run business expanded into commercial painting and concrete floor coatings.

Parker Smith runs the firm now after apprenticing under his dad, who instilled the importance of quality craftsmanship right from the beginning. According to Parker, “Quality and customer service are the most important aspects of our business. Quality and accountability produce referrals for our business”.

Over the years, Smith Painting and Company have worked on every possible property type, condition, and many restoration situations. Anyone can paint a house, but not everyone can do it right.

Smith and Company advise their clients on the importance of doing it right the first time. Commonly, we get projects repairing shoddy work completed by other companies. The most expensive designs frequently start with property owners going with the cheapest bid. Quality is always the most prudent choice.

After mastering residential, commercial, and industrial painting Parker Smith dove into the world of epoxy floor coatings and Smith Concrete Coatings was born.
