Beshears Construction, Inc.

Eddy began his career in construction in the early 1970s prior to founding Beshears Construction, Inc. in 1984. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, Westark Community College in Fort Smith, AR, and is a graduate of Greenwood High School.  Eddy also served in the Arkansas Air National Guard.  In his spare time, Eddy enjoys spending time with his grandkids, hunting, and fishing.  Eddy has been on the Greenwood Education Foundation and the Arkansas-Oklahoma Regional Education and Promotion Association for several years. 

Kathy has served in her current role since co-founding the company in 1984. Kathy’s experience includes office management, bookkeeping, and purchasing which she uses on a daily basis to fulfill her company responsibilities. She attended Westark Community College in Fort Smith, AR, and is a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, AR.  Kathy is a die-hard Razorback football fan who also enjoys spending time with her five grandkids, playing Bunco and Majong, and working out.

Steve’s responsibilities as Head of Field Operations include overseeing all project job sites and superintendents in addition to scheduling our labor force as needed from project to project. Steve has extensive experience in construction methods, technology, and field administration since beginning his construction career in the late 1970s. He attended Westark Community College in Fort Smith, AR, and is a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, AR.  Steve enjoys hunting, fishing, and growing tomatoes for the rest of the office to enjoy.

Travis began his career in construction in 1996 and became President of Beshears Construction in 2019 after serving in many roles. Travis is responsible for managing the operations of Beshears Construction as well as project management, estimating, and LEED coordination. Travis received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK and graduated from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, AR.  In his spare time, Travis enjoys hunting and spending time at the lake with his family.  Travis also serves on the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Clubs, Mercy Health Foundation – Fort Smith, and Immaculate Conception Church Finance Committee. 

Kim began her career at Beshears Construction in 1997. Her broad range of responsibilities includes project documentation, accounting, and human resources coordination. Kim attended Westark Community College and graduated from Southside High School in Fort Smith, AR.  Kim loves working at Beshears because it feels like a family atmosphere instead of a corporate office.  In her off time, Kim enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family. 

Matthew started with Beshears Construction in 2021. Matthew is responsible for estimating and project management.  Matthew is currently working on his Masters Degree in Construction Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. He is a graduate from the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith, AR and Greenwood High School in Greenwood, AR.  In his spare time, Matthew enjoys coaching CrossFit, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Kelly joined Beshears Construction in 2011 after working for six years as an architect in Boston, MA. In addition to project management and business development, she also performs the responsibilities of architectural coordination for our design-build projects. She graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, MA with an MBA in 2011. Kelly is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Architecture and Southside High School in Fort Smith, AR.  Her hobbies include gardening, fishing on the White River, and renovating old houses with her husband and two energetic kids.  Kelly is a member of the Fort Smith Planning Commission, the Fort Smith Heritage Foundation, and PEO. 

Tristan is currently assisting our office staff in accounting while attending the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.  While at UAFS, Tristan is studying accounting.  Tristan is a graduate of Southside High School and enjoys golfing, sports commentary, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
