BUR Membranes

BUR systems generally are composed of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics that create a finished membrane.

Structural metal panel roof systems can be used for low slope roofs because of their hydrostatic, or water barrier, characteristics.

Polymer-modified bitumen sheet membranes.

Polymer-modified commercial roofing membranes are composed of reinforcing fabrics that serve as carriers for the hot polymer-modified bitumen as it is manufactured into a roll material.

Single-ply membranes

Single-ply membranes can be installed fully adhered, mechanically attached or held down with ballast. Most single-ply commercial roofing systems do not receive surfacings.

Spray polyurethane foam-based (SPF) roof systems

SPF-based commercial roofing systems are constructed by mixing and spraying a two-component liquid that forms the base of an adhered roof system. SPF can be installed in various thicknesses to provide slope to drain or meet a specified thermal resistance (R-value). A protective surfacing is then applied to the foam to provide protection from the elements.
