Zientek Homes

Zientek Homes was started in 1984 by Gilbert Zientek. I have always desired to be a home builder and cabinet maker even before the age of 17 when I moved to the Brenham area in 1979 from Houston. I have always felt my calling is to build – as if to say I was born to build.

From 1979 – 1981, I worked in a cabinet shop, and then I worked for a homebuilder framing homes and trimming interior work. In 1984, I started working for myself and began building custom homes and homes for sale. Having accumulated some 31 years of lifetime experiences in homebuilding and having actual hands-on experiences for most of the trades in building a home has helped and continues to help give me insight on how to build a quality home.

I can also advise on house plans and build custom cabinets for the homes we build or for an individual who needs a new cabinet. We can also build raise-panel cabinet doors for an individual that just need doors and also draw house or cabinet plans for your custom home. My cabinet shop is attached to my office, which is located at 2012 Hwy 290 Brenham.
