I attended the University of Illinois and received a B.S., majoring
in political science, and minoring in economics. I graduated in 1987.
Next, I was fortunate to have attended the Loyola University Chicago
School of Law, which, without question, provides the best legal
education you can get in Chicago.
Upon graduation in 1990 I worked for a large firm and then 3 years
later accepted an offer at a very well regarded law firm, presently
known as Beerman, LLC.
However, I always knew that I was meant to own my own law firm where
I could represent real people and contractors and I opened up my own
shop in 1996. My father had been a master of all trades and I decided
that I would work two jobs, practicing law and operating a carpentry
sub-contracting business with the finest carpenter I have ever seen.
However, operating a small sub-contracting business and practicing law
eventually caused me to give the company to my co-owner and I returned
to practicing law, with experience and insight that only people who
have worked in the industry possess. I have concentrated my practice
in construction matters ever since.
I went to law school to help people and if you are in need of an
