Charlie founded MYCON General Contractors in 1987 and serves as its President and CEO. He provides strategic direction, sets cultural tone, leads senior management and promotes team-building throughout the company. Under his leadership and vision, MYCON has grown into a multi-million dollar, award-winning general contractor serving diverse markets. Charlie’s commitment to quality, performance and innovation are key company values as the firm delivers projects that meet or exceed customer expectations. Charlie is actively engaged in civic and professional organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He has won numerous awards throughout his career and has been recognized as one of the 21 Leaders for the 21st Century by Inside Collin County Business. In 2018, MYCON was recognized as a member of the Aggie 100, which honors the fastest-growing companies in the world, owned or operated by Texas A&M University alumni. Justin is a proven leader dedicated to the success of our company and our clients. 

As a partner, Justin's focus expanded to provide growth strategies and goals for all of MYCON's business sectors, tapping his expertise in delivering quality projects with effective management oversight. He is involved in all aspects of leadership, which include estimating, contract negotiations, business development, and strategic planning.

Justin exhibits a keen eye for detail and possesses a unique ability to understand and communicate with team members at all levels. He leads by example, as he relentlessly pursues quality and excellent performance while building relationships with our clients. 

Justin has been involved in many high-profile projects from the firm's first Walmart in Frisco, Texas, to the Tanger Outlet Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Justin joined MYCON in 2004 as a project manager and quickly moved up the ranks. He became Vice President of Retail Services in 2014, Senior Vice President in 2017, and was named partner in 2019. Justin is a Certified Development, Design, and Construction Professional (CDP) under the International Council of Shopping Centers criteria, and in 2014 ICSC Centerbuild recognized him as a 20 Under 40 young professional. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Malynda is responsible for the firm's financial management and accounting functions and directing the activities of the human resources department and information technology department.

With 15 years of financial and executive leadership, Malynda works closely with management in developing and implementing strategies and process improvements that support MYCON's overall growth and optimize its financial resources. Additionally, Malynda manages the firm's banking, surety and insurance programs and provides guidance and direction for the company's risk management program.

Malynda is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association ("CFMA"). She holds a professional certification as a CCIFP (Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional) and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

Education: The University of Arizona, Master's Degrees in Business Administration and Accounting

 

Rick’s leadership and operational management are integral to achieving the firm’s strategic financial goals and growth objectives in Central Texas. As vice president, he is responsible for overseeing multiple project teams; hiring and retaining employees; establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and sub-consultants; contract negotiations and execution; construction planning and scheduling; the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of projects; quality control; safety; and compliance management. With three decades of experience in commercial construction, Rick has an impressive track record of driving results by bringing together outstanding project teams. Under his leadership, MYCON’s Central Texas office has grown from seven employees to 55, with projected revenue of $50M for FY2019. Rick is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Roger provides leadership and management depth for MYCON’s growth and market expansion in the industrial, food processing and manufacturing sectors. With more than three decades of construction experience in the North Texas region, Roger has built an impressive track record and strong peer network. He is recognized as a dynamic executive known for his leadership and risk assessment skills in overseeing and completing complex, multimillion dollar projects for clients. Prior to joining MYCON, Roger founded and led Pavlovich Construction Services that offered design/build, pre-construction, new construction, tenant improvement and landlord services. Previously, Roger held executive positions at general contracting companies where he managed all phases of the construction process on projects valued from $5 million to $100 million. Roger excels at generating construction ideas and solutions that promote team excellence in completing projects on time and within budget. Education: California State College, B.S. in Industrial Technology

With 20 years in the construction industry, Wesley provides a strong foundation in construction project management, as well as strategy formation and organization. As Vice President, Wesley is responsible for a wide variety of tasks which include, overseeing the project management team for MYCON including contract negotiations and execution, construction planning and scheduling, quality control, and safety and compliance management. He is also responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of multiple projects, including value engineering, production and managing the project team in all areas of construction.

Lou has 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including project management and estimating. As vice president of estimating, Lou oversees the estimating department and collaborates closely with the team to develop budgets and proposals, manage schedules, and balance workloads. Additionally, he provides mentoring, fosters personnel development, motivates, and empowers individuals to reach their highest potential. 

Clients and colleagues trust Lou to identify concerns, overcome obstacles, generate solutions, and deliver exceptional results.

Chris is an extraordinary leader on every level. With over 20 years of experience, Chris seamlessly transitions between manager, technical expert, solution-selling, and client service roles. Instrumental in MYCON's growth over the last four years, he has simplified and standardized across the technical board, making it easier to access data quickly and securely, collaborate with clients and colleagues, and deliver exceptional results. As vice president, he will continue to push the firm's technical boundaries and improve the services in an increasingly strategic manner.

Chris is the technology professional every company wants and needs, but very few are lucky enough to have. He is a Certified Data Protection Specialist and is certified in Seagate ESCE eVault, DLink DCP: Switching, IP Surveillance, Arista ACE 2.0, VEEAM VMTSP, VMWare VCP-NV, FortiGate Security 6.0, and Dell Compellent and EqualLogic Installer.

 

Tim provides executive oversight for all projects from preconstruction through completion and will guide organizational support amongst the firm’s human resources, finance and marketing groups. His leadership and managerial focus is on improving employee training and mentoring programs, streamlining operations from office to field and maximizing efficiencies in the delivery processes.

Tim brings a distinguished track record in establishing, developing and managing top performing teams. His executive leadership skills include a keen focus on customer service, client relationships and industry partners. Tim has 31 years of experience and is adept at managing project teams and ensuring that schedules and budgets are met.

Education: Boise State University, B.S. in Construction Management

Jacob is responsible for generating commercial construction opportunities and creating and cultivating partnerships with clients and industry peers committed to long-term relationships.

Jacob is a data-driven and strategic professional who operates with integrity. His diverse business development background will lead MYCON’s strategic planning efforts and help expand its target markets.

With over 10 years of experience, he has a proven sales track record and a deep knowledge of the commercial and residential real estate development industry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lipscomb University and his Master of Science degree from Texas Christian University. In addition to his commercial construction industry experience, Jacob worked alongside his family in the lumber industry and is heavily involved in his church, Riverside Church of Christ in Coppell, Texas.
