I have always been a man of many talents. At an early age I had to learn it all. Both because i could not afford to pay people for things, but also because I had lots of interest in the trades. I got into garage doors because running heavy equipment all day was boring. Its the same cab, the same seat, and the same material every day. I heard about an opportunity to become a garage door installer at the age of 20. I called and did a phone interview, in less than a week i did a working interview, and after a 2 week notice to my then current employer i was off to learn a new trade. Residential installation was of course first. But when they started teaching me the ins and outs of commercial i was excited!!! Learning how to make the doors open and close with different technology has always been fun to me. RFID scanners or readers, Loop detectors for vehicle traffic, or even making a remote trigger magnetic locks for gates... that's the good stuff! One of my favorite projects (For my previous employer) was installing hydraulic bi-fold doors on custom controllers that my company made in-house. I enjoy the big projects and that's what brought me to the Blue Book. Each and every day I like to challenge my training. Access the problem at hand, adapt, and then make it happen.
I really appreciate your taking the time to look into North Suburban Garage Door and what we are all about. I would love the opportunity to supply you with a proposal on an upcoming project and hopefully create a long working relationship.
