Bartlett Construction Management is owned and operated by its
founder, Brad Bartlett. Early on, his mother and father preached
the importance of learning a trade and gaining an education. Brad
started his construction career at the age of 16, learning the trade
of carpentry. Brad took his carpentry skills with him to Saint
Augustine, FL where he worked for a custom design-build contractor,
and commuted to the University of North Florida, earning a Bachelor’s
of Science degree in Construction Management. Brad was one of the top
recruited students from his graduating class of 2007, and landed an
Assistant Project Manager position with The Stellar Group in
Dubai. After 2 years’ experience working in a management position,
overseeing the design build process of District Cooling Plants in the
Middle East, Brad returned to the United States with the ambition of
starting his own company. BCM was first established as a construction
management company, partnering with industry leaders specializing in
installation and integration of anti-terrorist crash barriers. This
work also included sensitive situations, such as, physical security
equipment at military sites and high profile access control points.
Brad continued to gain industry knowledge and experience as a leader
through BCM, and was able to manage, along with supervise, onsite
construction for projects like Doha International Airport, Orlando VA
medical center, Pensacola Naval Hospital, and multiple military
installations. In the wake of the residential market crash Brad saw
the opportunity to capitalize on the redevelopment of the residential
housing market. The security work was put on the back burner and crews
were developed to support the growing residential service
needs. Today, Brad runs BCM out of Tarpon Springs, FL as a
residential and small commercial company.
