Dan's career in the construction industry began in 1977 as an
Assistant Superintendent/Carpenter. He successfully completed a
four-year Carpenter Apprenticeship Program, graduating to Journeyman
Carpenter. Three successful years in the field created his next
advancement, a promotion to foreman overseeing projects in the Dallas
/ Ft. Worth area.
In 1984, Dan joined MAVCO Construction Co. as a General
Superintendent where he oversaw projects and managed the company’s
field operations. Ten years in the field at MAVCO prompted Dan to
expand his expertise by advancing to an estimating position with
another large Dallas general contractor. In 1994 Dan joined Precept
Builders where he had the opportunity to construct even larger
interior projects, as well as ground up construction. Always eager to
keep learning and growing, Dan accepted a position as Project Manager
with Highland Builders.
