Martin Valko is the Principal of ACM, a construction management
company based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Martin has more than 25 years
of experience in the construction industry. He takes a bottom-up and a
hands-on approach to managing projects. His diverse construction
background includes everything from manual labor to managing projects,
in either a business owner, owner’s representative or consultant
capacity. He has worked on all types of projects, including
residential, commercial and special projects such as energy efficient
residences. This wide range of experience has provided him with a deep
knowledge of the construction process. He has a “client above all”
philosophy that provides timely, quality and personalized attention to
his consulting work.
Martin is committed to continuing education and improvements
following the latest trends in construction industry practices and
products. He is passionate about preservation, sustainability and
“Green” building practices. He is also certified by the EPA’s
Lead-Safe Renovation-Repair-Painting (RRP Rule) and has undergone the
Department of Labors OSHA 30 training. Martin is a U.S. Green
Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and Certified Consultant by Passive
House Institute of US (CPHC).
