This was a return client who was doing a complete remodel, and floor addition of their home. The entire project took nearly 12-14 months for their construction team to complete. As usual, there were a lot of twists and turns on the road to completion, but the job overall was successful. We pre-wired for 22 speakers, 4 access points, 6 tv locations, and 4 cameras. All of the equipment was terminated on the first floor, in an equipment closet, all rack mounted.
This is project has been extended, and we are now about to begin the garage conversion, and pool entertainment system pre-wire.
My company, Xentric Solutions, has worked with Installutions many times over the past 4 years. We were subcontracted as a consultant for the network system design of this home. We first arrived on the job site during the prewire phase. A second floor was being added to the home along with a complete remodel of the first floor. Installutions had already drafted a plan for the necessary system components and where they would be installed. We suggested a few minor changes for optimization, as their original plan was sufficient. James specifically asked us to bring in business-class network gear for network resiliency and to allow for future growth.
When we returned to the job site a few months later, the house was almost ready to move in. We tested and verified all of the network wires that Installutions had pulled, as this is a required step before the network equipment is installed and connected. All thirty wires were run, terminated and patched correctly. During our last visit, we reviewed the final configuration of the network components and tested endpoint connectivity.
Overall, we enjoy doing business with Installutions. They are very honorable people and easy to work with. They carry a high level of integrity which is a rare find these days. Most of all, they put their customers’ needs first by providing them with high quality professional services.
