Scope Of Work
Jamail & Smith was awarded the University Hospital Radiology Services Angio Suite #3 renovation project in the University Health System. This six-month project consisted of demolition of the existing patient preparatory room and nurses’ lounge, as well as constructing the new Angio Suite #3, which included the installation of the new state-of-the-art Catheter Angiography machine.
The challenge for this project was having to work while Angio Suites #1 and #2 were in full operation adjacent to our renovation project. There were several occasions when the Angio procedures continued for 24 hours straight. During this time, the construction site needed to be sealed off and airtight. Infection control included twice-a-day inspections of the entire area for compliance.
As a result of our commitment to quality and our unmatched skills level, Angio Suite #3 was completed on time and to the owner’s satisfaction. The transition to the renovated spaces was smooth and the facility was operational immediately.
