Ned Rothberg 's Bio
As the third-generation owner, Ned serves as the President here at CDS Mestel. Ned attended Boston University and successfully graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1984. Growing up in the construction industry, Ned has over three decades of professional construction experience, which has been instrumental in the company’s growth and success. As president, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including the estimating, the company’s accounting operations, client management, and involvement with all projects. Always providing innovative solutions to meet the client’s needs, Ned is committed to “building to the highest possible quality no matter what size project we are handed”.
Richard DiNapoli's Bio
Richard started at CDS Mestel Construction in 1990 as a very proficient Union carpenter. After running multiple jobs, he quickly evolved into a job foreman. His honest and logistic approach to daily problems has made him a leading force among his contemporaries no matter how difficult a project is. He has experience in all commercial construction projects, which includes corporate interiors, food & beverage venues, high-end retail, lounges, and financial institutions. As Director of Construction, he’s responsible for pre-construction operations, overseeing all on-going projects, communication between project managers and field personnel, organizing project schedules, communicating with building management, logistical planning, coordinating meetings with the client and subcontractors, budget estimating and ensuring that every project is completed to the highest quality. Richard is well versed at keeping our clients satisfied and well-informed throughout the course of a project making him a perfect fit for the hands-on approach we use. He takes pride in being responsive to clients’ needs like punch list items and warrantee claims. With over 30 years’ experience in the field, Richard has proven to be reliable to get jobs done and is an asset to the CDS Mestel team.

Sal Navas Ng 's Bio
Saul joined CDS Mestel with over 10 years of construction experience
spanning from high-end retail, corporate interiors, and residential
construction. Beginning his career as a Project Manager he gained an
exceptional understanding of the construction industry, where he was
able to utilize his construction management skills from pre-bid
through project turnover.
Today Saul is involved as the
company’s Estimator, overseeing and reviewing the project plans and
specifications for projects ranging from high-end retail, corporate
interiors, food & beverage venues, transportation, as well as in
aviation. Saul’s approach is organized, proficient, and
detail-oriented to meet construction budget criteria, conceptual
budgeting, and value-engineering to represent the client’s best interests.

Jenna DiNapoli's Bio
Jenna joined CDS Mestel in 2016 as a project coordinator and has since worked her way up to become Project Manager. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and has specialized in talents in the world of photography. Her expertise is within the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC, where she is involved with managing a variety of projects spanning from food and beverage venues, retail, transportation hub offices and their check-in centers. Her daily tasks include organizing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, leading weekly meetings, providing weekly meeting minutes, coordinating building shutdowns with the building facility managers, putting together change orders, as well as organizing on-site meetings with the clients, architects, engineers, and trades. On top of all these tasks she also utilizes her photography talents, taking pristine photos of our completed projects.
Business Development, Marketing & Sales
Justin Rothberg's Bio
As fourth-generation, Justin is responsible for CDS Mestel’s Business Development. Attending the University at Buffalo, Justin successfully earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance in 2016. Justin has successfully performed in the roles of APM and PM, and holds strong communication skills, strategic and creative analytical skills, strong leadership skills, and is an all-around great team player. As Business Development, Justin focuses on strategic growth in new market sectors, retaining and building client relationships as well as managing the marketing for the company.

Edwin Caban's Bio
As comptroller at CDS Mestel, Edwin has 25 years of experience in the construction financial and accounting field. A graduate of LaGuardia College, Edwin joined CDS Mestel in 1995 and has proved to be an invaluable asset since his arrival. His daily tasks include providing daily oversight of the company’s accounting operations which span from weekly payroll of in-office and field personnel employees, handling of accounts payable and receivable, preparing quarterly tax filings and monthly union filings, preparing yearly audit reports, and developing plans for the company’s financial growth.
Michaela Taglia's Bio
Michaela has been part of CDS Mestel for a few years and first started as an Administrative Assistant. She has since worked her way up to Project Coordinator, where she is responsible for all project submittals, creating responsibility lists for those involved on the projects, airport vetting, overseeing project procurement, communication with the subcontractors throughout bidding and project completion stages, organizing and maintaining project lead logs, as well as entering and billing out invoices. Exercising strong communication skills, time-management, record-keeping, and organizational skills, Michaela works closely with everyone in CDS Mestel to make sure we are staying on task and up to date while meeting high quality standards.
