David is a Denver native born in the early 70’s. He was “born into a concrete family”, as his father, uncles, and cousins have all been involved in the concrete industry at some point in their lives. Growing up, he spent his weekends and summer vacations going to work with his dad. Starting at such a young age, it wasn’t until later that David fully appreciated the knowledge he had gained through these experiences. At age 18, his dad began to teach him how to read plans, and by age 20, David was ready to build his own projects and start his career. It only took him a few months as a full-time worker to become promoted to foreman and start constructing smaller buildings, from groundbreaking to site-work completion. At age 21, he built an entire Big Box hardware store and the surrounding city block. He quickly became superintendent of concrete operations, as well as providing estimating and project management services. In this role, David managed 120+ concrete employees, purchasing materials, ordering concrete and pumps, and meeting with engineers and architects. Since then, David started his own company and has built over 200 buildings along the Front Range area, ranging from small banks and 9 story hotels to airplane hangers and airport taxi lanes.
