Our Story
Originating in 1950, Creative Environments was founded by Chuck Hammond Sr. and his wife Shirley. Originally Hammond Landscaping, Hammond went door to door selling and designing dream landscapes from the back of his pick up.
In the 1960’s, Mr. Del Webb was so impressed by Hammond's drive, ambition, and the company’s quality landscapes, his team began working directly with him.
Chuck Hammond Jr. and Dan Waters, two long time employees, purchased the company from Chuck Hammond Sr. in 1993 and changed its name to Creative Environments.
Today, over 50 years later, the company employs over 200 people, including over 20 landscape designers that are professionally trained and ready to design your customized outdoor living environment!
