RGM and Associates (RGM) was originally formed as a General Contracting Firm and incorporated in the State of California in February 1987. Since 1993, RGM has provided program and construction management services to public agencies, with an emphasis on K-12 school districts, for over three decades now and has a proven track record for keeping programs and projects on time and within budget. RGM brings an expert knowledge base to its clients, as a result of our general contracting work for over thirty-one (31) years. This “in the trenches” experience brings a real-life perspective to our management approach. RGM is able to problem- solve and communicate with contractors, architects, and districts resulting in better information, solutions and value for the District.
As the Founder and CEO, Ralph Caputo has over thirty-one years of construction management experience. Ralph recognized the need in Northern California for a quality General Contractor and a professional Construction Management firm that exceeds the standards and expectations of the client.
RGM currently has a staff of 34 full-time personnel, including 14 project managers, and has maintained continual, controlled growth, bringing in new personnel with diverse educational and job-related experience (i.e., architectural, engineering, business and construction management).
RGM provides comprehensive planning, funding support, facility assessments, educational specification consulting, facility master planning, pre-construction services, construction phasing and management, expenditure reporting, grant writing, and other specialized services. The firm’s personnel and primary team members are Senior Project Managers and Project Managers with demonstrated experience and references in serving K-12 districts and higher education in similar programs within Northern California. RGM team members are fluent in DSA, CDE, and OPSC programs and requirements including Public Contract Code, CEQA, Career Technology and Joint Use facilities.
