Deform NW is a Design-Build General Contractor with a full-service metal fabrication shop located in Portland, Oregon. For over 20 years, we have specialized in designing, building, engineering and installing custom architectural metalwork, interiors and renovations. Our work spans both commercial and residential projects ranging from large to small scale. Our metal shop is skilled at working with a wide variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper and aluminum. Our building projects employ a breadth of metalworking techniques from the age-old craft of forging, to everyday welding, specialty fabrication, machining, and high-end finishing.

We offer a wide array of services focusing on both commercial and residential work - from large-scale architectural projects to a custom piece of furniture or hand railing for your home. We work with architects, designers and individual clients to find a solution that fits the specific needs of your project. We will work from your drawings, or we can collaborate to help concept and design for you.

In addition to fabricating architectural projects, we can also design and install them into a built environment. A staircase and railing system that we produce will be structurally sound and up to code. With our artistic vision and superior craftsmanship, we will ensure your installation is not only well executed, but visually integrated into the finished space as seamlessly as possible.
