Carmen joined FCL Builders in 1989 and worked his way through the ranks from Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Construction, to his current position of Executive Vice President and has been a Partner of the firm since 1993. He oversees the overall management of day-to-day operations, company personnel, Corporate Finance, and Sales. Additionally, he oversees the firm’s corporate matters including strategic planning and staffing, and business development. Carmen serves as a Project Executive on select FCL Builders projects.

Chris started with FCL Builders in 1986 and has been a Partner of the firm since 1998. He climbed the ranks from Superintendent to Project Manager to his current position of Vice President. In this position, Chris’ oversees the daily management of the company’s Construction Operations, Quality and Safety programs, Risk Management strategies and Human Resources. As a Project Executive, he leads the coordination of the design/build process with architects and clients, overseeing project coordination as well as profit/loss accountability.

Eddie Slay joined FCL Builders as a Vice President and is leading the company’s efforts in the Southeast. FCL expanded to Atlanta in 2015, and because of Eddie’s experiences in industrial and commercial construction, he was the clear choice for FCL.

A graduate from the Southern College of Technology with a BS in Construction, Eddie has nearly 30 years of construction experiences in Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida and beyond. From an industrial perspective in and around Atlanta, he was responsible for the overall project development and construction of the 715,000 sf McDonough Commerce Center, 900,000 sf Georgia Pacific facility, 415,000 sf Office Depot distribution center and the 577,000 sf Interstate South Building 3 warehouse.

As a genuine leader in the construction of commercial and retail projects, Eddie managed the project development and construction of Perimeter Place West and Town Brookhaven. Perimeter Place West is a 180,000 sf mixed use center in Sandy Springs, GA, and Town Brookhaven is a 150,000 sf entertainment, shopping and residential project in Brookhaven, GA.

Eddie and his wife, Stacey, live in the northeast Georgia mountains where Eddie enjoys trout fishing and spending time with his grandkids outdoors.

A veteran of the industry, Jeff has held positions as Sr. Superintendent, Sr. Estimator, and Sr. Project Manager in the general contracting field, as well as Construction and Development manager for one of the largest private industrial developers in the US. Jeff is able to provide a unique perspective to projects that ultimately translates to additional savings, security, and success. His project experience spans the globe with projects in three countries and range from large campus style industrial developments, Class-A office buildings, flex warehouse, high security SCIF projects, and unique build-to suit projects.?

Larry is a highly qualified executive with senior level experience in the construction industry. His sales and project expertise lies in operations, large-scale project development, education, municipal, recreation, office, retail, industrial/distribution, hospitality and mixed-use. Larry also possesses strong project management skills including estimating, pre-construction assistance, field supervision, client presentations, contract negotiations, hiring, training, formulation and adherence of policies and procedures, profit and loss accountability, risk management, monthly reporting, quality assurance and long term strategy. Additionally, he has deep technical and business qualifications with a proven track record of 30 years using a hands-on approach in both negotiated and competitive bidding markets resulting in high-quality project completions, increased market presence, development of a repeat client base and continued business and profit growth.

Mike started with the original staff of Four Columns, Ltd. in 1979 and became President and Partner of the firm in 1993. Under his leadership, the new incorporation of FCL Builders has seen tremendous and steady growth in its portfolio, personnel and annual revenues. Mike continues to be the lead Business Development member of the firm. He regularly generates new opportunities by maintaining and improving existing business relationships and continually searches out new sectors, product type and locals for future projects.

Randy joined FCL Builders in 1995 and brought over twenty years of experience in the construction industry to our team.  He became a Principal of the company in 2006. Randy currently oversees the sales and estimating departments. As Project Executive, he has been instrumental in the development of all airport related projects for FCL Builders as well as many others.  His respectable reputation with the City of Chicago and other surrounding cities make him a key member of any construction team.

Cory has worked in the development and construction industries since 2002 in business development and growth planning roles. Since joining FCL in 2011, he has led the company’s business development efforts with a particular focus on opportunities throughout the Midwest and in Texas. Cory’s principal responsibility is to identify new prospective customers, market sectors or geographic regions for FCL.

A 21 year veteran of the industry, Fred joined FCL Builders as a Superintendent and was quickly promoted to Senior Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Development Executive and most recently to Partner & Vice President of Sales. He brings extensive experience in the supervision of project design in conjunction with the client’s needs and coordinating sales and estimating activities to ensure that each project receives equal attention, regardless of its size. Fred brings a determined focus on Value Engineering to every project.

Dean brought 17 years of financial management and consulting experience, primarily within the construction industry, to FCL Builders in 1999. He was named Vice President, Finance and became a Partner in 2006. Dean works closely with the production, estimating and sales departments to develop corporate budgets and procedures. Additionally, he works with FCL clients to address any financial concerns and to develop reporting policies and procedures unique to their needs and the needs of any governmental body they may report to. Dean has been an active volunteer in professional and civic activities at various times throughout his professional career.
