Scope Of Work
CoxJones was Construction Manager-Advisor on this project which included the renovation of the existing Police Station, renovation of the KLSB building next door, and the construction of a new addition connecting the two buildings. The Police Station has a sally port, booking office and six holding cells. One wing is for the Patrol Division. It contains offices for the Patrol Captain, the Lieutenants and Sergeants for each shift. It also has a Squad Room, Armory, Exercise Room, and Men's and Women's Locker Rooms. The center of the building has a Public Lobby, Restroom and Conference Room. This area contains the Community Officer, Reception, Records and Records Processing. The opposite wing contains the Administration Offices, Dispatch, Criminal Investigation Division, Narcotics Division and a large Training/EOA Center. Construction began in June 2003, and it was completed three months ahead of schedule and significantly under budget.
