As Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane Construction Company’s Western Regional office, Charlie oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s regional activities. Joining McShane in 2015, he possesses over 30 years of experience in general business management, innovative team leadership, customer account management, labor relations and organizational capability and development.

Charlie is instrumental in the strategic planning process and offers a unique perspective that contributes to the streamlined integration of new construction with improved operations for McShane’s prospects and clients yielding higher productivity, operational savings and greater return on investment. He is a key contributor to the future growth of McShane’s construction operations within the Western Region. Charlie attended Liberty University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

As McShane Construction Company’s Vice President of Safety and Risk Management, Dennis is responsible for verifying that safe working conditions are maintained on every McShane project site. He conducts periodic job site visits with the project superintendent and participates in all job site inspections and follow-up conferences.

Dennis offers over 15 years of commercial construction experience, serving in a variety of on- and off-site safety-related positions. He applies his extensive training and experience to consult with job site teams and advise on any unusual safety situations that may occur. He also oversees the filing of safety documents related to and AGC requirements and maintains the company’s Safety Manual that is implemented at each McShane job site. In addition, he manages ongoing safety training for the firm’s project management and field staffs. Dennis received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Illinois State University. He is a certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist and Senior Claims Law Associate.

Jeff joined McShane  Company as Vice President in 1996 and was named President of the firm in 1998. Through 20+ years of service at McShane, Jeff has guided the firm’s growth into one of the nation’s leading /  organizations.

His personal commitment to client satisfaction has contributed to McShane’s national reputation for  excellence, resulting in a high percentage of repeat business.

Jeff oversees the firm’s national  activities from its headquarters office in Rosemont, Illinois and four regional offices in Auburn, Alabama; Irvine, California; Phoenix, Arizona, and Madison, Wisconsin. He is responsible for identifying new business expansion opportunities and providing ongoing strategic planning to support further growth within specific product types and geographic locales. Jeff attended Valparaiso University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and The University of Chicago where he received a Master of Business Administration. Jeff is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.

As Vice President of Human Capital, Jennifer serves as the company’s senior advisor and thought leader on all aspects of human resources. Through her strategic leadership of recruitment, talent management, and compensation and benefits, she ensures that The McShane Companies continues to attract, retain and develop talent to support the firm’s overall growth strategy.

With over 20 years of human resources experience, Jennifer has developed comprehensive human resources programs and helped prepare companies for future growth. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating magna cum laude. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resources – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Jim serves as Chief Executive Officer of McShane  Company, a firm he in 1984. Jim’s leadership, creativity and intuitive knowledge of /  propelled the organization into one of the nation’s premier  service firms.

The growth and success of McShane are anchored upon Jim’s dedication to the core  markets of industrial and office while evolving into growing sectors such as multi-family and healthcare. Today, the firm continues to enjoy a solid base of market diversity, geographical expansion and numerous successes on behalf of highly-respected clients.

Jim’s focus and dedication to growth and market scope have enhanced the firm’s platform on a national basis. McShane has grown from a single-office  operation in suburban Chicago into a national multi-office organization with locations in Auburn, Alabama; Irvine, California; Phoenix, Arizona and Madison, Wisconsin. Jim graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

As Executive Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane  Company’s Rosemont office, Mat oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s headquarters and Midwest Region and is a pivotal team member in the strategic planning process.

He contributes over 18 years of  experience at the McShane organization with a focus on the multi-family  and commercialconstruction markets.

Mat establishes and maintains many of the firm’s relationships with clients, real estate developers and the brokerage community as well as governmental officials, architects and other industry representatives. He contributes proven leadership and experience providing direction and guidance  the region to ensure a growing portfolio of assignments, on-schedule project deliveries and superior client satisfaction. Mat is a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Northwestern University where he attended the Kellogg School of  for a Master of Business Administration. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.

Min serves as Vice President of McShane Construction Company and is responsible for overseeing a team of professionals in the completion of comprehensive construction assignments. He joined the firm in 1999 and distinguished himself through excellence in his project management and work ethic, resulting in the professional advancement to Vice President in 2016.

While he has the construction needs of numerous clients within a variety of market segments, his high degree of sophisticated interpretation of project programming and design requirements has allowed him to excel in the multi-family, technology and healthcare sectors. Min’s unique understanding of the components necessary to construct complex project types utilizing maximum efficiencies allows him to ensure that the client’s goals and objectives are met. Min received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction.

As Chief Operating Officer, Molly provides day-to-day leadership and management of The McShane Companies, focusing her efforts on long-term strategic growth and operational excellence.

Molly consistently delivers innovative thinking on behalf of a wide range of projects, markets and geographical areas. During her long-standing tenure with the McShane organization, she has held a variety of positions within the construction and development businesses. She has focused on a wide variety of product types and, as a result, possesses extensive knowledge of the industrial, multi-family, office, healthcare and commercial market sectors.

This comprehensive experience grants Molly a unique perspective of the entire commercial real estate development and construction process, contributing to the overall growth and success of the firm.

Tom joined McShane Construction Company in 2003 and has risen to an executive position as Vice President. His detailed approach and unique understanding of the complex requirements for today’s industrial and commercial environments has made him a key resource in the firm’s design/build and general construction process within the warehouse/distribution, food processing, speculative industrial, light manufacturing and office sectors.

As Vice President, Tom leads the firm’s pursuit of industrial and office project undertakings  the Midwest Region and ensures that each assignment reaches a successful conclusion. Contributing 15+ years of construction experience, he serves as a point person and industry expert for the company offering insights to the multiple facets and complexities of industrial facilities. In addition, Tom is instrumental in fostering and maintaining working relationships and growing the firm’s presence and diversification in the Midwest. Tom attended Marquette University for a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Northwestern University where he received a Certificate in Executive Management for Design & Construction. Tom is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.

Joining McShane Construction Company in 2017, Brian contributes 30+ years of design/build and general construction experience to the organization.

He is recognized for his commitment to building genuine client relationships within the multi-family, senior living and commercial market sectors and adding value through his extensive pre-construction expertise. His experienced approach to serving this client type has resulted in the completion of a variety of high-quality senior living environments to support the needs of independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. As Director of Operations for McShane, he is responsible for overseeing a team of construction professionals in the attainment and execution of assignments. Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As Director of Information Technology, Catherine is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure for McShane Construction Company. She ensures that appropriate technology and infrastructure is available to support the achievement of company business goals and objectives. She develops strategic plans and risk management strategies to support the installation of technology products that enhance business performance.

Catherine possesses 17+ years in IT, with over 14 years dedicated to McShane Construction Company. She has been instrumental in the implementation of new technologies and IT strategies nationwide to accommodate the rapid growth of the firm. As a result of several technology initiatives, Catherine has enhanced the mobility and productivity of construction personnel while cutting down on communication time – allowing McShane’s project teams to work with 100% efficiency from anywhere across the country. Catherine is a Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified Network Administrator.

Gary joined McShane Construction Company in 1998 and has in a variety of project management roles. In 2014, he was appointed to Director of Quality Assurance & Quality Control. In his role, Gary directs the various processes related to the firm’s construction operations and is responsible for enhancing and furthering the development of McShane’s professional project teams.

Gary performs regular on-site quality reviews to ensure that the execution of each McShane assignment follows protocol and meets the firm’s standards of assurance, quality and client satisfaction. Furthermore, Gary actively oversees and reviews bid documents prior to the bidding and consultation process required for design/buildundertakings. Through his proven methodologies and years of dedicated service to McShane, Gary is recognized as a leading construction expert within the firm. Gary received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and was a Construction Quality Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is certified with The American Institute of Architects and is a Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction.

Ken contributes over 25 years of construction experience within the Southeast Region and on a national basis. joining the firm in 2007, he has played an integral role in the growth of McShane Construction Company’s Southeast operations, specifically within the multi-family and office markets.

Vic joined McShane Construction Company in 1999 and offers over 25 years of extensive field expertise and on-site management experience. As Vice President – Field Operations, he manages McShane’s superintendents within the Chicago area and the regional traveling superintendents who provide site supervision for projects  the midwest.

He is responsible for directing the field operations for the Rosemont headquarters’ diverse portfolio of project undertakings, including sizable multi-family residential, affordable housing and senior living communities, healthcare facilities, mixed-use assignments, office facilities and industrial buildings. Vic incorporates superior site management skills and a commitment to quality and safety for each McShane project. He regularly performs site visits to ensure that the firm’s high standards of construction are implemented and exceeded on each project.

Ed is a 20+ year veteran of the construction industry with proven experience within a wide variety of market segments, including the industrial, logistics, office, healthcare and hospitality sectors. His years of design/build and general construction expertise has allowed him to in a variety of construction-related roles over the last 20+ years with McShane Construction Company, including project management, safety coordination and as a leader of construction operations in the firm’s Western Regional Office.

Ed currently serves as Director of Business Development at McShane’s corporate headquarters. He is responsible for developing new relationships within the commercial real estate industry and enhancing the firm’s ability to be considered for upcoming construction opportunities. Ed’s professional successes in meeting the needs of corporate end-users, establishing confidence on behalf of institutional clients and developing relationships within the brokerage community, architects, consultants and other entities involved in the acquisition of new construction, allows him to advance McShane’s opportunities for new assignments across the region. Ed received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University.

Jay serves as Regional Director of Business Development and is responsible for the growth and leadership of McShane Construction Company’s market expansion within the industrial sector, including distribution, warehouse and manufacturing. In his role, he advances business objectives  the Southeast Region by supporting the pursuit, planning, pre-construction and corporate account management for assignments on behalf of McShane’s Southeast Regional Office.

Jay contributes years of experience in driving profitable business initiatives to reach short- and long-term goals. His industrial expertise includes the design/build and build-to-suit construction of numerous large-scale projects including logistics facilities, warehouses, assembly plants and distribution centers.   his career, Jay has perfected the strategic leadership required to build and foster strong working relationships and further desired positions within selected market segments. His unique understanding of market dynamics  the Southeast, coupled with his seasoned industrial construction experience, allows him to identify, cultivate and execute new opportunities and advance McShane’s project portfolio  the region. Jay attended Appalachian State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Josh joined The McShane Companies in 2015 and offers over 15 years of industry experience. As Vice President – Marketing, he directs and oversees all marketing activities. He designs, implements and monitors effective marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals. Josh ensures that the marketing team’s activities contribute to McShane’s long-term success.

Prior to joining The McShane Companies, Josh held various marketing leadership roles in the A/E/C industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University, and is a member of the Society for Marketers of Professional Services.

Bob is responsible for overseeing the finances of McShane  Company. He directs the firm’s overall financial planning process and manages the firm’s relationships with the financial community.

Furthermore, he oversees ’s treasury function and periodic financial reports to the Board of Directors and senior  team.  He also directs the company’s risk  and insurance programs as well as the company’s human resources and technology departments.  Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As Vice President of Finance for McShane Construction Company, Ellen oversees the financial management and accounting functions for the firm, as well as manages the firm’s relationships with outside financial entities, including its bonding and insurance relationships.

With over 20 years of service at McShane, Ellen supervises a professional staff of accounting associates dedicated to processing the complex financial transactions that occur  the construction process. Ellen has been instrumental in the implementation of new procedures and strategies to accommodate the growing volume of financial and accounting matters for McShane on a national basis. Ellen attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and DePaul University where she received a Master of Business Administration in Finance . Ellen is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Alison serves as a Senior Project Manager for McShane Construction Company and leads the firm’s Southern Wisconsin Regional Office. She joined McShane in 2012 and was promoted to her current role to provide management assistance in the design/build and general construction process for the firm’s Wisconsin operations.

As Senior Project Manager, Alison is responsible for managing projects and providing leadership for McShane’s assignments, specifically within institutional, commercial and multi-family markets. She contributes proven expertise in performing pre-construction evaluations, value-engineering research, review and confirmation of subcontractor bid submittals and construction efficiency studies. She possesses extensive experience working on adaptive reuse projects and with community-based organizations within urban settings.
