McShane Construction Company was selected by developers, The Community Builders, Skilken and Troy Enterprises, to complete a new 41,000 square foot Walmart Neighborhood Market at 47th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
The Walmart Neighborhood Market, located within The Shops and Lofts at 47 mixed-use development, features a full grocery department, including organic and natural selections, prepared food options, fresh-baked breads, a self-serve deli, a bakery and a full-service pharmacy. The market also incorporates two truck docks, an 18′ clear height, burnished concrete floors and on-site parking for 85 vehicles.
McShane also provided the construction services for this 202,000 square foot mixed-use development that includes 72 apartment units and 54,000 square feet of retail space.
