Joe Huczek's Bio
Joe is founder and president of Main Street Homes. He has delivered more than 2,000 new homes, ranging from starter homes to ocean-front penthouses.
Raised in Ann Arbor, Joe has a deep connection to the local community and understands the local housing and development market. He is a Construction Management graduate of Ferris State University and is a d Residential Builder.
Joe was drawn to the building trades during high school and was a recipient of the prestigious Henry S. Landau Scholarship through the Washtenaw County Student Builders Association. Receiving this award gave Joe the opportunity to work under Landau’s direction at a young age, which Joe credits with guiding his vision and building philosophy to this day.
After directing operations for a prominent homebuilder of ultra-luxury homes in Naples, Florida, Joe returned to Michigan to fulfill a long-time dream of starting his own custom home building company.
Inspired by the mentorship he received as an aspiring young builder, Joe is now an active volunteer with student groups, working to cultivate the next generation of builders. He serves on the board of directors of the Student Home Builders Association, as well as the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor, of which he is a former president.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with family on the water, boating and kayaking, as well as golfing, biking, skiing, running, and traveling.

Bob Trustman's Bio
Bob is the purchasing and estimating manager at Main Street Homes. He brings more than 18 years of dedication in project management and construction consulting at top-tier homebuilder firms in Southeast Michigan and Austin, Texas.
Bob’s love for the building began in 1997 with Milburn Homes in Austin, Texas. He continued his construction career back home with a few top-tier southeastern Michigan homebuilders. Bob manages all aspects of estimating and purchasing for Main Street Homes. He also oversees many of the back-office processes while continuing to promote efficient operations.
Bob was educated at Eastern Michigan University. In his spare time, he enjoys running marathons and spending time up north.

Dennis Boychuck's Bio
Dennis is a project manager at Main Street Homes. He works closely with our clients during building projects, leading status meetings, overseeing the closing and delivery of homes, and overseeing any warranty issues. Dennis manages quality in the field, supervising trade professionals, managing schedules, and overseeing material orders, budgets, and permits.
With more than 30 years of experience locally in the custom building industry, as well as extensive experience in high-end custom renovations, additions, and whole-house renovation projects, Dennis’ attention to detail has satisfied countless clients throughout his career.
Dennis began his career gaining wide-ranging experience in carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and other facets of building, honing an attention to detail that is apparent in the product he delivers to our clients. Later, he moved on to project management roles for prominent custom builders such as Henry Landau, Richard Russell, and others. Dennis’ overall experience is second to none.
Dennis’ experience in homebuilding goes all the way back to childhood – he fondly remembers assisting his father when he was only 8 years old, mixing mortar and stocking brick and block for one of the many homes they built in Ann Arbor.
An Ann Arbor native, Dennis has enjoyed living and working in the Washtenaw and Livingston County areas throughout his career.
Outside of work, Dennis enjoys boating, time in the sun, and evening bonfires by the lake. He also enjoys the shooting sports and casual competitive shooting with friends. He plays acoustic guitar and loves making music with friends and family.
Fatima Nesseth's Bio
Fatima is the selections manager at Main Street Homes. She helps our clients envision, select, and source the finish materials for their home, from the exterior windows and doors to the last piece of cabinetry hardware.
Fatima graduated from Harrington College of Design in Chicago with a BFA in interior design and brings more than 13 years of experience helping homeowners fulfill their new home dreams.
For most of her career she has focused on luxury kitchens and bathrooms, working for some of the top-tier plumbing, appliance, lighting, and hardware companies in the country.
Fatima gets to know each of our clients and their individual tastes, and works to source and select materials that capture their vision. She accompanies our clients on visits to suppliers and vendors, providing her design expertise to help with the selection process.
Fatima entered motherhood in 2019 and is loving every minute of it! She also enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, and hiking in the Upper Peninsula.
Jeff Brainard's Bio
Jeff is project manager at Main Street Homes. He works closely with our clients once the building project begins, leading status meetings, overseeing the closing and delivery of homes, and handling any warranty issues. Additionally, Jeff manages quality in the field, supervising trade professionals, managing schedules, and overseeing materials orders, budgets, and permits.
With more than 25 years of management experience in the building industry, Jeff is a tenured construction professional with large residential projects expertise both in the U.S. and abroad.
Having an extensive career path in the construction industry, Jeff has been fortunate to work on all sides of the economic spectrum. Jeff began his career working for the family construction business while attending the University of Michigan. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in science, Jeff spent two years in the Peace Corps, continuing abroad with emergency relief organizations in Africa, managing and coordinating large-scale infrastructure projects. Returning to the U.S., Jeff moved quickly through the ranks being promoted to vice president at a publicly traded Fortune 500 company, overseeing operations for multiple luxury home communities.
Jeff brings many years of unique career experiences, perspectives, and dedication to the Main Street Homes team.
Outside of work Jeff enjoys surfing, skiing, and mountain biking with his family. Jeff also participates in triathlons and has completed over a dozen including multiple Ironman distances.
Ryan Schoch's Bio
Ryan is assistant project manager at Main Street Homes. His expertise is put to work supporting the management of trade professionals and suppliers, setting project work schedules and handling warranty requests from homeowners.
Ryan is a graduate of the Wayne State Mike Ilitch School of Business with a BS in finance. Prior to his role at Main Street Homes, Ryan worked in management roles for several home-building companies in Michigan as well as top-ranked restaurants in Las Vegas, Nevada. He grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School.
Ryan is an active dad to his young daughter and a member of NorthRidge Church in Plymouth. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golfing, bowling, and seeing new baseball parks across the country. He also serves as vice president of his neighborhood homeowners’ association.
Finance & Accounting
Jackie Rau's Bio
Jackie is the controller at Main Street Homes. She is a CPA with more than 30 years of financial experience and has dedicated most of her professional life to Michigan-based businesses.
For the past 15 years, Jackie has specialized in the home building industry. She worked with Joe Huczek for several years as controller of another building company before he recruited her to the Main Street Homes team. Jackie also worked for six years with Arthur Andersen.
Jackie is a graduate of Hillsdale College with a degree in accounting. She also holds a master of divinity degree and is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She and her husband Dennis have two kids and enjoy attending their football games and cheerleading performances. She and her family have a “mini zoo,” with a dog, a cat, two turtles, and several fish.
