DESCRIPTION:
The facility provides a place where Austin's Asian American community can express cultural backgrounds and house their economic and educational interests.
The resource center includes an assembly hall with dividing partitions, a catering kitchen, a library/computer lab, nine classrooms, offices, conference spaces, an information center, a display gallery, meditation garden and a one-of-a-kind art piece functioning as a water fountain.
The project also includes foundations, structure, a building envelope with roof, doors and glazing, interior partitions and finishes, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
The master plan includes addtitional structures yet to be built.
