Herve designed a solar car when he was 21 years old. He later got invited by MIT for a summer program in Boston to advance sustainability in transportation. Herve designed his first residential solar systems NEC 2008 compliant in 2009. He later joined Accenture in their IT consulting business and managed different projects for large multinationals and U.S. government agencies. He also worked for the U.S. Department of Energy as a Strategy Consultant on the largest renewable energy projects in the world. After a brief consulting period with CO2logic, a boutique sustainability consulting firm he joined forces with Helen and Joe to advance solar development to large and medium enterprises. Herve got convinced of the necessity to act and to be part of the solution after reading the 2nd IPCC report in 1999.

Joe is a clean energy and sustainability professional with broad experience in renewable energy project finance and energy efficiency policy development. At the White House, he served as an energy adviser to the President's Chief Sustainability Officer, and as the lead for the Obama Administration's Capital Solar Challenge and President's Performance Contracting Challenge. He served on deal teams that have completed several billion dollars in debt financing for innovative clean energy technologies, including solar, wind, and geothermal technologies. Joe completed the first environmental assessments under the National Environmental Policy Act for utility-scale solar photovoltaic and thermal technologies. Joe's background includes greenhouse gas accounting and estimation, solar energy project development, and sustainability program development and analysis. Joe has been working in the sustainability industry for nearly 10 years.
