Pat Kelly, owner and operator of Pat Kelly Construction Co., Inc. was
raised in Oyster Bay, New York, along with his eight sisters and one
brother. After graduating from St. Dominick's High School, Pat went
to Niagara University where he graduated in 1971.
After teaching for a couple years, Pat found his true calling while
working for Al Weigel, who owned and operated a small general
contracting company. Pat worked for various contractors until 1979
when he decided to start his own business in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Pat became certified as a licensed general contractor and continued to
grow his business until 1988 when he moved with his family to Dutchess
County, New York. Pat immediately started to build a customer base in
New York and continues to seek new challenges and opportunities for
himself and his crew.
Pat is a proud member (Past Grand Knight) of the Hyde Park Knights of
Columbus where he has been active in various events benefiting local
charities. Pat has chaired and co-chaired many of these events,
including the St. Patrick's Day Dinner/Dance and the Italian Dinner
Night on Friday's in October. You may also see Pat marching with the
Knights of Columbus in the July 4th Parade in Hyde Park. Pat is also
a member of the Dutchess County A.O.H.
Pat has coached CYO and AAU basketball teams in the past and coached,
as well as sponsered, Hyde Park Little League teams.
Pat's family includes his wife, Mary and their children - Brendan and
his fiance, Jaime and their children, Avi, Shiloh, Kyla and Declan;
Maureen and her husband Jamie and their children, JJ and Braden, and Colleen.
Outside of work, Pat's interests include gardening, walking/hiking
and spending time with family and friends.
