Janet Webster has worked across a variety of fields in information, business and technology, experience that has allowed her to see projects of almost any scale from a variety of perspectives simultaneously. Mrs. Webster comes from a family of entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts; her parents were ahead of the curve in the field of information science, and Janet spent much of her childhood watching them run a computer solutions company. In her adolescent years she began to apply her early interests by developing her own websites and designing graphics. She went on to study and acquire a bachelors degree in Communications from Geneva College in western Pennsylvania.
Since graduating Janet has held a variety of roles which have allowed her to discover her capability and flexibility in a variety of circumstances:
-over 10 years of experience in computer technologies
-7 years in logistics
-10 years in marketing
Janet excels in project management and enjoys the process of working in collaboration with others. Her interpersonal style allows her to be flexible between the roles of "doer" and "coordinator," emphasizing communication to determine the needs and abilities of all parties and to ensure that projects are completed in a timely fashion. Her interest in a variety of fields and willingness to do research allows her to consult on a wide range of topics specific to the needs of the client. Janet works to bring creativity to every project through promoting, explaining, improvising, and elaborating on ideas and concepts.
Janet has been an active member of the greater Charlotte community dating back to her time running a small business solutions company grounded in grassroots networking and cross promotion with other local business owners. She has worked closely with the farming and food movement through volunteer and organizational efforts and she is now Public Relations head for the Charlotte Roller Girls with whom she began her first season skating in 2017.
