Carolina Fab, Inc. is a AISC certified structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector located 20 minutes south of Charlotte in Mount Holly, NC. We're also HUB certified WBE with the state of NC and the city of Charlotte. We’re committed to providing you with the highest level of service, so you’ll always be happy that you chose us.

Rick Evans founded Carolina Fab Inc. in 1998 after working for Duke Power for 20 years as an advanced rigger, certified welder, pipe fitter, crane operator, and the list goes on.  With top security clearance to all nuclear power plants he was the go to guy for all outages and plant maintenance needs. He started Carolina Fab Inc. as a way to be closer to family after traveling for so many years. Rick quickly grew the company and got the respect of the industry fast by staying committed to quality, beating schedules, and fair pricing. 

He taught his two sons (William & Christian) everything he could and let them learn the hard lessons on there own.  

William started working for Carolina Fab Inc. when he was 16. After high school he attended Western Carolina University where he earned degrees in Construction Mgmt. and Entrepreneurship. Working the summers for Carolina Fab Inc. and completing three internships with G.C. Shelco Inc. Starting the following day of graduation he has been committed to continuing his fathers foot steps in building a strong company using his education from WCU but most of all his father life lessons. He has since specialized in erecting structural and miscellaneous steel from beginning (estimating phase) to end (finished product).  

Christian got his start in Carolina Fab Inc. when he was 16 as well. He went to Appalachian State University and earned a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.  Christian worked every chance in the company preparing for graduation and surpassing Rick's expectations for growing the company and expanding our services to meet our customers needs in fabrication. He has excelled in making quality products with quick turn around time.
