Matthew Clark's Bio
Matthew Clark, a Massachusetts native, grew up in the town of Bellingham where he spent most of his time working in the family real estate development business and attending high school. After graduating from Bellingham High School, he pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Chemistry from Bridgewater State University.
While attending university, Matthew continued to work in the family business where his experience and responsibilities developed from that of a field technician to senior management. After graduating college, he teamed up with his brother to form TMC Environmental. He served in the capacity of CEO at TMC for 20 years leading it from a small start-up to a formidable presence in New England.
Matthew realized that TMC had reached critical mass through organic growth and began the process of seeking to expand through mergers and acquisitions. He researched the market landscape and identified ENPRO Services which lead to a merger of two of the largest and most well respected environmental services firms in New England. The merged entity, Enpro Holdings Group or simply “ENPRO”, became the premier environmental services provider in the Northeast with offices throughout New England as well as New York, New Jersey and Florida.
As CEO of ENPRO, Matthew began the challenging process of integrating two companies with distinctly different cultures and systems. Within a year of integrating the companies, ENPRO was positioned firmly as an industry leader which drew sharp attention of some of the much larger national competitors in the environmental marketspace. Soon thereafter, ENPRO was sold to National Response Corporation where he stayed with the firm for a short period to ensure orderly transition to the new company.
In May of 2016, Matthew established Green Site Services Group, Inc., a company focused on property maintenance and disaster restoration.
Along with his corporate duties, Mr. Clark has availed himself to public service and philanthropy initiatives. The Worcester Business Journal membership voted him one of 2009’s “40 under Forty” in the community. He regularly donates his time and resources as a member of various organizations.
