Daniel Ross's Bio
Daniel Ross is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Day & Zimmermann, a century-old, family-owned company, with $2.7 billion USD in revenue, specializing in construction & engineering, operations & maintenance, staffing, security and defense for leading corporations and governments around the world. Mr. Ross oversees all of human resources for the D&Z enterprise including talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, diversity & inclusion, labor strategy and organizational development.
During his 14 years with the company, Mr. Ross has progressed through a series of roles in multiple business units that have provided him with a unique perspective on the company, its operations and strategy. He first joined Day & Zimmermann as a college intern, rejoining in 2008 as the Director of Talent Acquisition, where he led the Company’s recruiting organization. From there, Mr. Ross held increasingly responsible roles in Human Resources in Yoh, Corporate and MC (then called ECM), where he spent four years as Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, he supported a business with 900+ staff employees and 15,000-20,000 Union and Non-union craft employees.
Since 2019, Mr. Ross has advanced to Vice President, Corporate Development, facilitating the Company’s strategic planning process and leading its mergers and acquisition activities, including the acquisition of two Projects & Construction organizations, one that expanded our Maintenance and Construction division into Canada. As a corporate development leader, Mr. Ross reported directly to the CEO and worked with business leaders across the enterprise to help them achieve long-term, profitable growth by supporting and leading initiatives relating to corporate strategy, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other special projects.
In addition to serving as a key member of the executive leadership team for the two largest divisions, he is a member of the D&Z Leadership Council, which makes decisions regarding overall Company strategy and policy. Mr. Ross also led the COVID-19 response team, where his efforts have been instrumental. His collaborative style and strong business acumen have served him well and he brings this experience from across the business. Mr. Ross continues to move D&Z HR strategies, policies, processes and cultural initiatives forward.
Prior to joining D&Z, he worked in HR and Operations for Toll Brothers and Aerotek, and started his career as an Accountant at Gottlieb & Associates.
Mr. Ross received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University. In addition, he holds a Wharton Executive Education in Mergers & Acquisitions, a SHRM-SCP Certificate, a title of Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society for Human Resource Management, and a SPHR Certificate from Villanova University.
Emmett McGrath's Bio
Emmett McGrath is president of Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company. Yoh is a leader in recruiting and outsourced workforce solutions. As president, McGrath is responsible for the strategic and operational success of Yoh’s two main offerings; Specialty Practices, providing highly-skilled, professional, STEM talent; and Enterprise Solutions, Yoh’s integrated, managed workforce solutions. McGrath has been president of Yoh since April of 2017 after having previously worked for Yoh in various roles from 1985 to 2004, working his way up from recruiter to branch and district manager and finally, as leader of Yoh’s west and central regions.
McGrath was previously with On Assignment for 10 years and subsequently started ClearEdge Advisors, LLC. Before re-joining Yoh he led Specialist Staffing Solutions’ Real Staffing USA division. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources from California State University, Northridge and lives in the Silicon Valley in California.
Harold Yoh's Bio
Hal Yoh is chair and chief executive officer of Day & Zimmermann (dayzim.com), a leader in construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and government agencies around the world. He is the third generation of the Yoh family to lead Day & Zimmermann—a family-owned business and former recipient of the U.S. National Family Business of the Year award.
As chairman and chief executive officer since 1999, Hal has helped shape the strategic growth that the company has achieved over the last few decades. He began his career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a design engineer and project manager. In 1986, Hal rejoined Day & Zimmermann and held a range of progressive leadership roles including business area manager for the engineering and construction division and president of an affiliate company. In 1993, he was named senior vice president ofDay & Zimmermann International, Inc. and in 1994, Hal served as president of the process and industrial division, overseeing the design and construction of plants for customers.
Hal is active in many industry and professional associations. He currently serves as a board member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) of which he was also past Chair. He is a member of the steering committee for the Defense Industry Initiative on Business Ethics & Conduct, the Business Roundtable, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Teleflex (NYSE:TFX) and as past Chair of the Construction Industry Institute (CII). In 2013, Hal was inducted into the National Academy of Construction.
As a strong proponent of civic and community service, Hal was recently appointed Chair, Philadelphia Airport Advisory Board, and currently serves as a Trustee of the Franklin Institute, and an executive committee member and past chair of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. He also has served as a past board member ofWHYY, as well as on numerous boards and committees for Duke University.
Hal is a graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Material Sciences, and he holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania
John McCormick's Bio
John McCormick is President of Day & Zimmermann’s Maintenance and Construction Group, a leading provider of total plant lifecycle solutions for the power and industrial markets.
Prior to his current position, Mr. McCormick served as president of Day & Zimmermann NPS®, and earlier, as vice president of fossil operations for this division.
Mr. McCormick’s career spans more than 35 years and includes executive positions and plant management roles. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of River Management, Safety, Training and Environmental at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Previously, he was the Senior Vice President of Fossil Power Group Operations at TVA. Prior to joining TVA, he spent 25 years working at Exelon Power where he was the Director of Operations and held general manager positions at multiple generating stations.
Mr. McCormick holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University and an Associate Degree in Power Plant Technology from the Williamson College of Trades. He has served on the board of several non-profit and professional organizations. He is former President of the Board of Directors for the National Hydropower Association and is a board member for the Greater Chattanooga United Way.
Kathleen King's Bio
Kathleen King is Vice President, Corporate Development, managing strategy, mergers and acquisitions and government affairs for the Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) enterprise. In this role, she oversees the company’s overall strategic development process, and leads the corporate development and government affairs teams. She is a member of the D&Z Leadership Council and reports directly to the CEO.
Kathleen joined the company in 1999 in finance, and has supported multiple groups and business units since then. She held a series of positions with increasing management and oversight responsibility in finance, strategy and operations. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, Yoh, where she lead the company’s operation that provided Managed Staffing Provider (MSP) Services, National Accounts and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Services, and National Account Staffing globally. In that role she launched the company’s Total Talent Solutions brand, DZConneX. Prior to Yoh, she served as Chief Financial Officer of the company’s SOC business unit, and held the position of Vice President and Controller, for the Munitions and Government group.
Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from Park University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA).
Lisa Ann Cooney's Bio
Lisa Ann Cooney is Sr. Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for Day & Zimmermann. She is a member of the Company's Leadership Council, which makes decisions regarding overall Company strategy and policy. She chairs the Company's Ethics & Compliance Committee and is a member of the Company's Executive Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She also is the Executive Sponsor of the Company LGBT & Allies Employee Resource Group.
Lisa brings over twenty years of legal experience to her role. Prior to joining Day & Zimmermann in 2007 as General Counsel for Yoh, one of Day & Zimmermann’s businesses, Lisa worked at a premier Philadelphia-based law firm, where she specialized in labor & employment law. Over the course of her career with Yoh, Lisa guided litigation strategy, provided adept contract negotiation and management advice, and supported M&A and due diligence activities for several acquisitions, including those in Europe. As General Counsel to Yoh’s ultimate parent, Lisa manages a team of over 25 attorneys and law professionals.
Lisa is a graduate of Douglass College at Rutgers University, BA, and Rutgers University School of Law, JD. For several years, she served on the Board of Directors for Habit for Humanity, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Michael McMahon's Bio
Michael McMahon is president of Day & Zimmermann's Engineering, Construction & Maintenance group. Prior to his current position, Mr. McMahon served as president ofDay & Zimmermann's Power Services business. Mr. McMahon also served as president of Day & Zimmermann NPS®, as well as vice president of business development and executive vice president of operations for this division.
Mr. McMahon has more than 30 years of experience in all phases of maintenance and construction project execution. His career spans industrial and power markets, petrochemical, gas, fossil and nuclear. In each, he has served in engineering, senior management and executive oversight capacities.
Mr. McMahon holds a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and has completed courses at The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania
Mike Yoh's Bio
Mike Yoh is president of Day & Zimmermann's Munitions and Government business.
Mike has held a number of increasingly responsible technical and managementpositions throughout Day & Zimmermann since joining the company fulltime in 1985, including assignments in engineering, operations, production, business development, quality improvement and contract negotiation and management.
Mike serves in many capacities on outside boards. He is president and a member ofthe executive board of directors of the Munitions Industrial Base Task Force (MIBTF), former member of the Industrial Committee of Ammunition Producers (ICAP) and past member of the board of directors of the National Defense Industrial Association's (NDIA) Delaware Valley Chapter. At Duke University he is a member ofthe Pratt School of Engineering Board of Visitors. He is also a past member of the Executive Committee of the Annual Fund, past president of the Duke University Engineering Alumni Council, and past member of the Duke Alumni Committee. Mike is a member of the leadership committee of the Boy Scouts of America’s Sea Base High Adventure Camp and is a former Vice Chair of the Boy Scouts of America’s Cradle of Liberty Council. He is senior warden of All Saints’ Wynnewood Church and was a member of the board of the former Anglican Foundation of Philadelphia.

Sankara Viswanathan's Bio
Sankara “Vishi” Viswanathan is Senior Vice President of Business Services and Chief Information Officer for Day & Zimmermann (dayzim.com), a leader in construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world.
Vishi brings more than twenty five years of experience in providing technology solutions, developing strategies, driving innovation and building talent. Since joining Day & Zimmermann in 2004, Vishi has held a series of progressively responsible positions to become the Chief Information Officer in 2014. During the course of his career at Day & Zimmermann, he has been instrumental in enterprise-wide implementation of SAP ERP, Yoh’s talent platforms and the DZ Atlantic integration. Most recently, Vishi assumed an expanded role of leading Day & Zimmermann’s Shared Services Organization in 2016 to lead process innovation and improve operational effectiveness. Prior to Day & Zimmermann, Vishi has held several positions at Intelligroup Inc., SYSTIME, and Congruent.
Vishi holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from University of Madras and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Villanova University.
Steve Selfridge's Bio
Steve Selfridge is President of Day & Zimmermann Government Services, including Mason & Hanger and SOC.

Mr. Selfridge is known for building and leading high-performance multinational teams and uniting parties on a common mission and goals. As a dynamic international executive with a 40-year history of establishing and growing multi-million dollar businesses, he has demonstrated success in increasing profits and market share, having worked across six continents in highly competitive global industries.
Starting his career as a CPA at KPMG, he then moved on to provide Chief Financial Officer leadership to an architectural and engineering (A/E) firm which was sold to Tetra Tech (TTEK). As the former Chief Operating Officer of retail security provider Checkpoint Systems, Inc, Mr. Selfridge helped to grow the company from $35 Million to $360 Million through a number of public financings and acquisitions. Under his leadership as Chief Executive Officer of Acsis Inc, a logistics software company, he led the company’s more than 500 percent growth.
As an established leader with operations supporting national security interests in high-threat environments, he is a member of the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA), the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), and the Executive Mosaic Leadership Program in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area. He was featured in South Jersey Magazine as one of the leading Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Year (2015) and was the former Chair of the Foundation Board of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Mr. Selfridge received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey, where he serves on the Leadership Council of Rutgers School of Business.
