This ground-up construction project is Texas’ first indoor skydiving facility with a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel. iFLY used wind tunnels made by SkyVenture which are aerodynamically efficient and designed to yield wall-to-wall airflow in the flight section of the tunnel. In addition, SkyVenture recirculating “green” wind tunnels use far less power than other wind tunnels.
The flight chamber is the enclosed section of the tunnel that you step into to fly. The floor of the flight chamber is a trampoline floor of aircraft-quality stainless steel. The tunnel operator slowly brings the wind speed up until you and your instructor are airborne. The fans are capable of top windspeeds of approximately 160+ mph.
iFLY facility has a private meeting space for room rentals and team building.
