As the leader of our finance organization; Karen is responsible for the company’s organizational planning & development and maintaining all finance and accounting components including cash management, internal audit, financial reporting and taxation.

As Co-Founder, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Structura, Kevin Jones is responsible for all strategic aspects of the company’s operations including resource planning, financial planning, client relations, marketing and business development initiatives, to ensure continuous growth.

As a results-driven leader, Kevin serves as a strategic consultant on projects. His advocacy of strong team collaboration, keeps everyone on track with open communication and the belief that results are what ultimately matter.

Kevin has been at the helm of more than $2 billion worth of new construction and renovation projects in the data/call center, office building, retail, healthcare, industrial and biopharmaceutical sectors, as well as places of worship.

Through Kevin’s leadership, Structura has achieved a strong reputation of high integrity and  commitment to excellence.

Rusty Morgan is the Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Structura, where he is responsible for the vision and strategic direction, creating and maintaining the corporate culture, and overseeing decisions regarding the organization’s capital expenditures.

He has spearheaded the management of roughly $2 billion worth of technically challenging, fast-track and design-build projects in throughout all industry sectors. Organizations repeatedly turn to Rusty as a sought-after expert, idea-guy and problem solver for commercial construction projects, which he keeps abreast of current best practices and development trends in the industry.

Kym works with Owners and Architects to provide preconstruction services including conceptual or preliminary estimating, constructability reviews, value engineering recommendations and scheduling. Kym’s creativity and ability to conceptualize projects allows her to provide detailed and consistently accurate budget proposals and lump sum hard bids.

As Chief Estimator, Jim Ulmer is responsible for the leadership and development of our estimating team, and management of all preconstruction activities.

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Jim’s extensive knowledge of the local industry, materials and constructability brings valuable insight to preliminary budgets and planning. His leadership and experience sets the bar to the highest level and is a key component to Structura’s success.

Anthony’s 15+ years of experience in the construction industry, provides him with the knowledge and judgment to manage projects and people efficiently and proactively. He has developed projects in the high tech, corporate, retail, financial services markets ranging from tenant build outs and renovations to ground up data centers. Anthony meets frequently with his project teams to ensure everyone has the support they need to build the best product for our clients.

Amando Aguilar Jr., LEED AP BC+C, has joined our San Antonio office as the Regional Leader to oversee operations and grow the office. Aguilar has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the Structura team.
Armando is a member of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Armando has been a resident of San Antonio for over 12 years and has completed more than 40 projects in the San Antonio area.

Brad brings 15 years of diverse experience in commercial and high-end residential construction to Structura. His expertise in critical path scheduling, financial analysis and process improvement has resulted in the successful completion of his assigned projects. Brad is recognized for his ability to lead and develop cohesive teams and meeting tight deadlines.

As a Senior Project Manager, Brian Owrey is responsible for overseeing a project from pre-construction through construction completion. He is accountable for the coordination and management of construction projects including value engineering, subcontractor negotiations and schedule maintenance while exceeding our clients’ expectations. Communication is his key to success in ensuring that his teams deliver first class projects with the highest level of client satisfaction achievable..

Jim Owrey, Regional Leader for Structura’s Houston office, started with the firm in 2014. He has over 38 years of experience in the construction industry and brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the team. Jim has a diverse background providing real-time assistance in all areas of project management including subcontractor relations, scheduling, automation and general project administration.

His high level of customer satisfaction is a result of proactive communication throughout the course of a project which also allow his teams to deliver first class projects on time, in budget.

Steven Shuler manages all aspects of interior projects from preconstruction to closeouts and is heavily involved throughout every project. Steven provides oversight and assistance to ensure our team’s ultimate success. He is always available to step in with advice to the team, assist with problem solving, conflict resolution and to ensure adequate resources are operating at full capacity. Steve is a personable and confident leader who excels at building and maintaining relationships.

Suzanne Johnson guides and manages Structura’s Human Resources. She is the first person you get to know when you join Structura as she coordinates recruiting and new employee onboarding. She serves as an employee advocate for services, policies, benefits and resolves workplace issues. She is the compensation and benefits administrator and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Kelly Hogan is a marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience in the A/E/C industries. As Marketing Director, Kelly is responsible for the firm’s overall marketing programs and manages brand messaging, proposal strategies and creation, and communications including social media, our website, direct mail campaigns and all company events. Her enthusiastic attitude and desire to collaborate makes Kelly an excellent team member.

Marie has been in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry in Austin for several years, and in the Central Texas region for over two decades. She is a dynamic young professional with an innate ability to form genuine connections and relationships. As the Director of Business Development for Structura, she reaches across all regions to further our existing partnerships with our industry relations.

As General Superintendent of Interiors, Eric Cuellar, is responsible for onboarding new Superintendents.  He serves as a mentor for Assistant Superintendents to aid them in advancement to Superintendent. He is a valuable resource for all Superintendents as needed. Eric has supervised and managed projects ranging from remodels, executive offices, boardroom finish-outs, restaurants, and medical/test lab facilities. He works closely with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with all building standards. His 26 years of experience in the commercial construction industry in the Austin market, has prepared him to foresee any possible project roadblocks and address them with the architect, engineer, and subcontractor before they develop. Eric’s strong organizational and communication skills ensure smooth running projects that finish on time.  Eric has an impeccable reputation and is well-respected in the industry.

Jake has over 20 years of construction, estimating, procurement and project management experience in hospitality, industrial, healthcare, high rises, airports, complex renovations and financial institutions. His extensive construction background enables him to identify a clients’ needs and correlate them with the project budget. Jake’s experience with large and small projects along with his unyielding commitment to project quality provides a unique perspective to the design and construction process.
