Recently, Lisa managed a nearly 5 million square foot industrial portfolio, consisting of 36 buildings throughout Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. Previously, she provided effective third party management of another regional industrial portfolio of 5.2 million square feet comprised of 30 buildings. Responsible for budgets, financial reporting and management of capital projects from maintenance thorough build-to-suits. Worked effectively in tandem with asset management, lease administration and accounting.
As Director of Property Management for a national real estate developer, she was responsible for the on-going operation, construction operations and management of multiple existing and newly developed upscale retail strip, lifestyle and mixed-use retail projects, in excess of 1.75 million square feet. Provided operational direction during the development of a town center project in Basalt, Colorado, including building plan reviews, income and expense projections and implementation of key operating procedures of the twelve block ground up project consisting of 250,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment and 400 condominium units.
Robert Slanker's Bio
Spanning 35 years in the construction and real estate development businesses, he has gained wide experience with the successful delivery of hundreds of projects, large and small. Robert has been involved with broad range of projects in commercial retail / office and industrial, modular, ship building, museum to food service, new construction to repairs and maintenance. He has also managed building operations including a 90 tenant enclosed shopping center and a 40-story class "A" urban office building, working for both the ownership and contractor sides of the business. A highly organized and professional leader, he has a self-motivated and proven record of achievement with a focused approach in all aspects of construction.
Implemented, as Division Manager, the startup of a general construction division for an established Illinois based demolition contractor. In three years he grew the division from start-up to over $1.7 million in annual sales.
Took over a fragmented and ineffective tenant construction program for a major Chicago-based developer. Organized and implemented a national tenant improvement and leasing support program covering 25 operating and in-development properties. Performing against tight deadlines, met all leasing needs and operated within 3% of budget, while managing 30 to 50 projects simultaneously, delivering an average of one completed project every 10 days.
Lead team member, developing and constructing the largest steamboat ever built, which entered service in 1995 at a cost of $65,000,000. The project spanned 4 years including design / construction of all interiors, from initial concept through maiden voyage.
