George majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Aeronautical
Engineering at the Indiana Institute of Technology. He began a career
in commercial construction in 1962, first in store planning and
fixturing, and later moving into the management end of commercial
construction. He was a Construction Superintendent for Cunningham Drug
Stores, Inc. for 18 years, Director of Store Planning and Construction
for Gray Drug Fair, Inc. for 4 years, Director of Engineering,
Construction and Maintenance for Phar-Mor, Inc. for 7 years, and
Director of Construction for Homeplace, Inc. for three years. He spent
the eight years prior to coming to work for Kerricook Construction,
Inc. as Senior Project Manager for Conger Corporation, alongside his
son Bradley. George’s forty plus years experience in commercial
construction, retail store planning and fixturing make him a perfect
fit for Kerricook Construction, Inc. and its Customers.
