Jeff Wandersman's Bio
Jeff Wandersman has developed a holistic approach to architecture through his experience working in all phases of the design and construction process. Jeff received a Fine Arts degree from the George Washington University in 2002 where he studied photography, ceramics and design. This was followed by several years working in construction and furniture restoration. Jeff received his Masters of Architecture from Columbia in 2006 where he was awarded a Kinne Fellowship.
Before forming Palette Architecture he was employed by Slade Architecture, Sharon Davis Design, and Bronze Hill Contracting. Jeff has worked on an extremely diverse range of building types, scales and budgets ranging from flagship retail stores and penthouse apartments, to art gallery, office and restaurant renovations, to brownstone and new home construction. Through this work he has accumulated an extensive understanding of cost and constructability issues and the ability to merge complex client and design requirements across a wide array of projects. Jeff has extensive experience in both design and construction in New York City interior renovations.
John Sunwoo's Bio
As one of the founding partners of Palette Architecture, John Sunwoo brings design experience gained over a decade of working at several of the world’s most prestigious architectural practices. His experience covers a variety of complex project typologies, ranging from medical research and educational facilities to high-end residential and office spaces. John’s experience in solving complicated problems helps our design process find creative solutions for our clients. With a dedication towards achieving highly performative design solutions, John is committed to establishing a high level of quality in everything that we produce.
In 2001, John received his Bachelor’s at MIT. After spending a few years designing research facilities for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, John returned to school to get his Master’s of Architecture at Columbia University. Graduating in 2006, he worked on several large-scale projects. He has worked for Rafael Vinoly and Kevin Kennon and at SOM and has gained an ambition to the loftiest goals of the profession. Included in his portfolio are projects ranging in scale from boutique office interiors and research laboratories to university buildings and office high-rises.?
Peter Miller's Bio
Peter Miller has spent his career designing and administering the construction of some of the world’s most challenging projects. His experience extends from major cultural institutions and urban master plans, to parks and residential work. He has worked on numerous award winning projects, which push the boundaries of today’s construction practices both formally and functionally. Peter has had his work published in many magazines and newspapers such as Architectural Record and the NY Times. In 2005, Peter was invited to exhibit his work on flood-resistant housing at the Rotterdam Biennale.
Peter received his Bachelors of Science from Washington University in St. Louis and his Masters of Architecture from Columbia University. He has worked at H3 Studio, Voorsanger Architects, and Handel Architects where he worked on a number of innovative and world renowned projects. Peter brings to Palette the skills to meet our clients’ aspirations from drawing board through construction. His knowledge of construction techniques, contemporary architectural design, and creative details allows Palette to find beautiful architectural solutions to each project.?
