Testimonials
I never heard of Polar Express until I went in to the Vero Mall, where they had a store. The gentleman(Chris) who was representing Polar Express was very helpful. He went through every system with me and explained each air conditioner pros and cons. I was very satisfied with my service from him. Then I went on home advisory and they were the first company that appeared for my replacement air conditioner. Which made me even more confident I would get a good price and service. The sales rep came out, gave me a price and it was installed by 5:00 that day. I also received a service plan at no additional charge. I will have to say. I was completely satisfied. Thanks to home advisory and Chris in Vero Mall.
I'M JUST WAITING FOR TAX DEDUCTION PAPERWORK AND SENIORS PAPERWORK. GREAT CREW DID WHAT THEY PROPOSED AND THE UNIT WORKS VERY NICELY. THEY EXTENDED MY WARRENTY FOR 3 YEARS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. I HAVE 2 MORE A/C UNITS IN THE HOUSE AND WHEN TIME COMES THEY WILL DO THE WORK FOR ME.
Over-all I was very happy with the process. The three estimates I obtained proved this this company to be the most cost effective. Their speedy response was refreshing. There were just a couple points I was not clear on before the work began that as a home owner you may not know to ask about. (I know I didn't) 1. Be aware that the cement slab/base is a slab they bring. This does not look aesthetically as nice as if the cement were poured on site. I had gravel around the old unit that I would have removed and cleaned up the are better before the slab was put in place had I been given the opportunity. I was not home when the work was done and the job was almost done by the time I arrived. 2.The new unit is much bigger than the old one. (by height doubled and width about 10') Fortunately the fence I placed around the old one to block the view from the patio was big enough to cover it again. (barely) Otherwise I would have needed to purchased higher fencing and incurred an extra cost. 3. Lastly, I was encouraged to purchase a more elaborate thermostat than the one the company provided. There was no reduction in price in using my own thermostat AND the technicians, while very pleasant, had no idea how to program the thermostat. When I was doing research on the best thermostat to purchase, I found three to choose from other than generic basic ones. One would think that if I installed AC units for a living, I should know about the top three thermostats on the market, and thus be prepared to help the customer get started with the programming. I have since found that the thermostat I selected was very user friendly. The anxiety caused by the tech not knowing how to get started was short lived. Again - Overall very happy with the experience.
