Starting with our grandfather, the Bates Family has been in the trades for over a century.    We have multiple licenses and specialized training.  Our father, a fully apprenticed master carpenter founded, C.A. Bates and Sons (License #444594), after retiring from business completed twenty years as a Building Official.  Our core, extended family and staff represent a variety of professionals with diverse and extensive experience in the construction industry.

 Anthony M. Bates (General Building License #705414 & General Engineering License #902289) started A. Bates G.C. 18 years ago after spending over a decade in Government Service Administrating Government funded construction projects.

 We incorporated in 2006.  We have multi-million dollar bonding capacity and more important, we have a long track record of successful business relationships.

 Our total list of completed projects is very extensive.  We are often used as consultants, project managers, and contractors for government projects.   We have over 2000 completed projects.

 Whether it’s a Hydrostatic Dam for L.A. County Public Works, multiunit housing or a high-end historical renovation, custom homes or remodel project we are here to aggressively, discreetly and professionally serve our clients.
