Blaise Burch's Bio
Experience
As the Executive Vice President, Blaise brings a wide arrange of talents to the firm. Blaise conveys over 31 years of experience to all of our projects. He has been a key member on an eclectic arrange of projects. Such as public libraries, senior centers, athletic centers, justice centers, cinema, higher education, and big box retail.
Education and Training
Blaise is a graduate of the University of Tennessee’s College of Business. He is a licensed contractor in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Off the Job
Blaise and his wife Polly have three sons. The two oldest boys are studying Business at the University of Tennessee and the youngest is a senior at West High School. Blaise’s family enjoys boating, golfing, and snow skiing.
Joe Fielden's Bio
Experience
As the President and CEO, Fielden is the driving force behind a firm that consistently finishes projects on time and within budget. This is evidenced by such a high number of repeat clients. Fielden has been there every step of the way, having in one way or another played a part in all J.A. Fielden projects over the years. With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Fielden brings a vast amount of knowledge and expertise to every job the firm undertakes, while continually striving to exceed customer expectations
Education
In 1976 after finishing his studies at the University of Tennessee, he began his career in the construction industry. He currently sits on the Board of Advisors to the Dean of the UT School of Business. He has been very active in community affairs and has served on the Board of Directors of a number of local civic and charitable organizations.
Off the Job
He and his wife of 35 years are the proud parents of four grown children and four grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling while continuing to balance work, play and marriage.
Mark Williamson's Bio
Experience
Mark Williamson has been in the construction industry for 22 years, while serving 19 of those years with Fielden. He serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary overseeing all fiscal and administrative functions of the Company.
He serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary handling all fiscal matters and working with the home office staff on a daily basis.
Education and Training
He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee in 1981. He previously worked for Ernst and Whinney, CPAs and in the real estate development industry prior to joining Fielden.
Off the Job
When not at work, Williamson enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children all of whom play college sports. He has also been active in civic affairs in the Knoxville community.

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to previous bids. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.

David Gardner's Bio
Experience
As a Senior Project Manager with Fielden, Gardner is directly responsible for managing multiple projects and personnel to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule. While at Fielden, Gardner has implemented new procedures and programs to restructure the operations department thereby promoting better organization and document control to maximize time and effort being spent by all operations personnel. He is completing his tenth year with Fielden after having worked with Myrick Gurosky & Associates, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama for nearly seven years. While there he served as project manager and was responsible for managing all aspects of the design and construction to ensure that the quality, budget and schedule met or exceeded the expectations of the clients. Some of his previous and current projects include:

Education and Training
Gardner is a 1996 graduate of Chilton County High School in Clanton Alabama, and attended George C. Wallace Community College in Selma, Alabama.
He is a Certified Storm Water Professional in the state of Virginia, as well as Tennessee and for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Gardner has also received a Certificate of Training in both Primavera SureTrak Scheduling and Primavera Expedition Management Software.
Off the Job
Gardner and his wife Jennifer have two daughters, Mallory and Emma Grace; and one son, Brady. They are members of Crossroads Baptist Church.
