Our Story
Rich Schafer established Schafer’s Lawn & Snow in 1987 at the age of 17. What began with a push mower in the trunk of an old Chevy has grown to a fleet of 43 trucks, as well as 3 landscape supply stores that sell to the general public. Celebrating 20 years of serving the Greater Lansing Area with superior product and service.

We are located within Mason, Lansing and Grand Ledge. Family owned and operated, Richard's wife Shawn has been an active part of Schafer's daily operations for 20 years. They have 3 children who also enjoy helping out.
