In 1971 Marlin Shank began a building business in the Chambersburg area with his son, Dale L. Shank. Together they set out building new homes to fit the needs of their customers. Then in 1980 Dale Shank took over the building business from his father and named the company ” Dale L Shank, Builder “. For many decades he served the Chambersburg area constructing new homes, additions, and garages. Dale also began teaching his own sons the building trade and prepared them to carry on the tradition of quality custom work. His teaching paid off. Now, three generations and 40 years later Dale’s sons, Vernon and Milton, are carrying on the passion for driving quality to a new standard. Whether it is renovating a kitchen to meet your dreams, adding on a garage, or building a new home from ground up, we, Shank Builders, pledge to carry on the long standing tradition of exceeding our customer’s expectations.

If while discussing your project you want to see what a minor change may look like, no problem! Some changes can be made using the computer on the spot. We want every detail to be your way.
